“Today I passed by there and it will be my favorite place. I ordered some chilaquiles in green sauce with eggs and beans, they were delicious.
They served me a Menudo broth if I asked for it and it was 10 out of 10 super and the horchata too.
The waitress was super friendly and the owner too.
And the place is very well decorated and clean.“

“What a fantastic restaurant, but be warned. It’s street parking and you might have a bit of a walk. We came in at 4 and the place was packed, and loud. Our wait time was 20 minutes but well worth it cuz the food was amazing. There was lots of it and it tasted like it came out of our kitchen (if we could cook Mexican food very well). We loved it. We shared the Mexican combination plate and hubby got some mini flautas. So so good. And the sopapillas were the best ending ever to a great meal. Our server Jazmine was professional and gave some recommendations that were spot on. We will most definitely be back, maybe even again on this trip!“

“The food is outstanding. The menu is creative and excellent with superb seafood ceviche and delightful appetizers. Our waitress Genesis was very good and very welcoming. The whiskey sour was one of the best in many years. The decor was very pleasant. Overall, this restaurant is a true find.“

“The atmosphere is great. Will recommend this place just to stop by, have a beer, grab a snack and enjoy the outdoor games they have. As for my first experience, the food was alright. The food we had was flautas, obviously, which were perfectly cooked, not hard to chew on. As for flavor, not much flavor in them. Aztec soup tasted like watered down ketchup. Avocados were hard and tasteless. Queso had no flavor. The brisket was a bit hard and tasteless. The churros had very little to no flavor. The corn was a bit too salty. My group and I did go 20 minutes after they opened, and the server/cook did not seem friendly. Almost like she had a “it’s too early to have customers” attitude. She did show us how to order on the kiosk, but really just rushed through it, not that it was hard to use but she rushed it like she didn’t want to show us. Overall, I still recommend this place as the atmosphere is mellow, large selection of sides, kid friendly environment, and it’s very clean. I look forward to coming back as I did enjoy my time being there and grabbing a bite to eat with my family. I tend to support local and I always try to leave my honest personal opinion. I look forward to coming back in the near future.“

“I tried Mexicos city's birria so I was iffy about trying it here! I had the ramen and it was great. My husband had the quesabirria and were great too! The but is that it is too hot no a/c. The two young guys cooking don't greet and are on their phones! Never saw them wash their hands. Instead of being on the phone they should CLEAN! Wipe their areasand help clean tables. Tables were dirty and has plates on them. Young lady was awesome!“

“Small restaurant very mexican style feel. Service was fast and friendly even for a guy that don't speak Spanish (point to the spot on the menu). The fresh warm chips were delicious. 4 hard shell shredded beef taco's with rice and beans was just as a imagined (great). Didn't have enough room for the bean and cheese burrito so I had to take that home and it was still very good reheated. Food is great with a great value. I spent more but had a second meal to eat later.
Parking: Small lot combined with other businesses but at lunch time they still had plenty of parking
Kid-friendliness: Families did have there kids there unfortunately I did not“

“Outstanding!!! I heard great things about this place, but had not made the time to visit. The service was perfect. Our meal (and the presentation) was lovely. Great place to hang with good friends and have conversation without competing with loud ambience. Definitely coming back and bringing friends here!!!“

“This was our first time visiting Chilabox!
The food was wonderful, I had the Verde sauce, and my husband had the poblano sauce and they where both full of flavor, we loved all the topping options but wish they had other protein choices besides chicken.
I also wish they had a small box and a large box option, while the large box was the perfect size for my husband it was way too much food for me personally.
The service was average but the two lady's working were friendly, they were slightly hard to hear because of the music being loud.
They do not have much seating inside but have a beautiful outdoor dining area!
They only have a few parking spaces that were full but we were able to find parking around the corner.
Overall would highly recommend as a “need to eat here” place.“

“So happy we decided to eat here!! The service was amazing and they were always making sure we didn’t need refills on water, more agua frescas, or sides for our tacos! Let’s start with those delicious aguas! Jamaica and lemonade had the perfect sweetness and weren’t quickly at our table that we had to order more! We ordered 2 parrilladas for 4 people each since we were a party of 7. Let me tell you THIS WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH! I have gone to many places were the parrillada states it will feed that amount of people and disappointed and hungry is how we leave but not here! It came with potatoes, queso fundido with chorizo or rajas, and they had a weekend special where we got 4 beers per parrillada! What a steal honestly! The pastor was my personal favorite, the crunchy tripitas were my husbands and mother in law’s favorite, and lastly asada which had great flavor! Everything was seasoned well, we had sides like salsas, limes, cilantro, cucumber, onions….they would bring more as soon as they saw it running low! Ask about some tasty mixes they make for your beers! Loved it and will definitely be returning!“

“Walked in to the place it was small but had a good vibe. Owner took our order and sat us down . We ordered colitas de pavo and a combination on that had ham steak winnies and a shredded beef . They were so good at first we didn't think we would get full but the fries hit the spot. We were stuffed and their salsas we on the spot. My son said that was our new father son go to place and he is very picky. I wish we would have had a table not a both but place is never empty.
Parking: Plenty of parking and easy to get to
Wheelchair accessibility: They will make sure you are seated comfortably“

“This is the BEST Mexican food restaurant in El Paso. It's like walking into your Abuela's house for a home cooked meal and the sweetest staff you'll ever meet. So good, you may ask to move in, lol. I love this place! I live in Albuquerque, but I'm in El Paso monthly for work. I make sure I eat here at least twice on each visit. Oh, and come October, November and December, they have the most heavenly tamales. I swear, they are a spiritual experience. Try them and you'll see for yourself.“

“Pleasantly surprised, I thought I was walking into hole in the wall restaurant, instead, I found a beautiful upscale Mexican cuisine restaurant with a beautiful table setting. No store brought chips and salsa was the first clue. Beautiful water glass with classy water refill carafe and cloth napkins (at lunch time). Service was great and menu was appetizing. I deserved this and will treat myself again soon!“

“I don't want to hurt their rating but it seems I just ordered wrong. I eat out everyday and have Facebook page Chico Eats to review. Iam very direct in my review I don't hold back anything . The Salsa is good. Make your own chips, store bought ones are bad. Enfrijolasas. Not the best. I wanted refried beans and way too much onion. Queso fundido horrible. Got solid as a rock. Prices great. Staff great. Clean place. I'll go back for second chance“

“My Twin sister recommended this place to me and didn’t think twice to call me all happy to tell me how much she enjoyed it. Her and her husband were telling me what they liked and enjoyed. She knows me too well and I didn’t think twice to go as she told me. Ordered my burritos went home and enjoyed it! Delicious barbacoa. I don’t like eating barbacoa in restaurants but decided to try it out. It was 10/10 for me for being made in a restaurant!! Definitely recommend them! Had papas con chorizo, beans with cheese shared with my picky daughter and she loved the burritos!! Definitely recommend this place!! Thank you twin Daisy Acosta for recommending this place!!“

“Best barbacoa & menudo in town 💯
I would spend a year crawling through the chihuahua desert with Oscar Leeser tied to my back and nothing but a toothbrush to defend myself from Coyotes just to have another bite of Barbacoa from La Reyna 😍
Don't forget to ask for agua de pepino, tamales and tip your servers 💓“

“Old trusted lunch spot. Cozy w separate room for larger groups. No frills older restaurant. But totally up from there. Servers on you in a second and asking to refill drinks or satisfy special requests before you even think to ask. Service was excellent both visits. And food is on it's way hot ? off the grill. No sitting under heat lamps. Basic Mex cuisine but damn good. V v reasonable. EZ ♿️ access. A regular on our lunch group list soon. Customer satisfaction is the focus here. You won't be disappointed. See you there.“

My Husband and I visited Taft Díaz for brunch..wonderful attentiveness, excellent cooked to order food, beautiful tastes, and a comfortable atmosphere.. was so enchanting, we made another reservation before we left. We returned for the 5 course custom New Years dinner, which was just as spectacular. Well worth the wait. Great recommendation for a place to receive excellent service, excellent food, and feel relaxed.“
