“Came in looking for a quick lunch with the kiddos and this place popped up. Very fast and friendly service. The kids got enchilada plates , they left full and happy. Price was easy on the pocketbook. Only negative aspect I’d point out is they close at 3. I Highly Recommend.”

The only drawback, the building is very old and dilapidated. 90% of the customers are locals. This is a family owned restaurant. Next time I drive thru Floresville, I'll be stopping by again.”

“What formerly used to be Olivias. We still call it that ? Best Tex Mex food in town! Seriously, number one out of my top three. We always come here. We used to be acquainted with the old owner and the family. As it was a family owned business. Since the new owner took over, the staff and everyone is just as nice and the food is the same. Always very welcoming. Depending on the time of the day, they can get pretty busy. But if you know the times to go, you can catch them when they're not as full, If you like more of an empty, quiet atmosphere. Puffy tacos are to die for. Usually I get the no 3 (enchiladas and crispy taco plate) and ask for a puffy instead of a crispy. ? Not that there's anything wrong with a crispy. Their puffy is just amazing. The carne guisada is also sooo good. The prices are very fair. The waitresses always go above and beyond. Most of the time, we sit down, and they bring us our drinks right away, already knowing our usual drinks without having to ask. Now that's really good service. Always a pleasure. Thanks, yall!”

“This is our "go to" breakfast place. My favorite is cheese enchilada with egg over easy on top! Yummy! Karmen, Edward, Billy, Sandra and Melissa are the best wait staff. Yolanda in the kitchen is Awesome!!

“OMG this restaurant is so GOOD!!!! It’s a small but cozy place nothing fancy but very clean. I’m here to let you know it has the best food by far of any restaurant in Floresville. Their tripa tacos are delicious , Puffy tacos fantastic I can go on and on… because everything I’ve had there has been good. I love to cook and I do, but when I give myself a break this is where I go. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming that just adds to the reason why I love going there.”

“I've been going here since i was 7, and im 14 now yet still love it so much . my grandparents had introduced me to the place and its very welcoming and have such friendly amazing workers and delicious food. they never fail to serve an amazing meal. as someone who has been deprived of their Mexican culture from split family, being here is very comforting and welcoming. staff are super friendly and kind, they even remember revisiting customers as well, they always recognize me and my grandpa.
they also always have seasonal window paintings and they are always beautiful and kids like my siblings love seeing the new window paint each month.they have great service aswell.

Parking: its never completely empty but never completely full, there are parking spots for disabled aswell.”

“Friendly atmosphere. Beer is cheap. He only takes cash. There is no atm in the bar, but but behind the bar is a bank. He does not sell liquor, but he does allow you to take your own bottle of liquor in. There is 2 pool tables and one dart game.”

“Liked the food but was disappointed that I left my sweatshirt and didn’t realize it until 2 days later. When I called them I found out they threw it away. When I worked in a restaurant we waited at least a month before we donated the items. Disappointed because it was my favorite sweatshirt…. 😠”

“every since I first bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I was sold to deliciousness. I worked for pizza hut at the time and the second time I bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I told the clerks at the store the pizza to me is better than Pizza Hut. then I seen the sign in the window and found out Hunt Brothers has breakfast pizza and it's been a little over four years now and Hunt Brothers pizza is all I buy. what I love is taste, quality, price and fact the toppings don't cost extra. keep up the good work and keep the customers happy. “JC’s Súper Burger is what a good old fashioned classic burger is all about . The atmosphere is filled with the fragrance of a classic delicious burger joint . The fries did not disappoint either , if you’re looking for that classic burger without gimmicks this is the place to be .”

“We love Golden Chick! ALL of the chicken is DELICIOUS: tenders, fried chicken, and the roasted too. The chicken is so good you have to exert self-control not to overeat! We frequently dine at GC in Pleasanton, San Antonio, and Floresville.

The Floresville Golden Chick is our favorite by far. Every dish is always served to perfection; I have never had a substandard offering at this Golden Chick. Unlike other locations, the rolls are never over-baked and all of the sides are prepared with excellence! In addition, the staff is extremely friendly. The manager ensures that his customers are 100% satisfied.

We also love the fenced half-shade patio out front! Our veterinarian is in Floresville and whenever we need to take our dogs to the vet, we stop at Golden Chick for lunch on the patio with our pups happily watching us eat. Golden Chick is the only place in Floresville where we can dine with our dogs, and the manager has told us our pups are always welcome!
