I have been to the restaurant a handful of times, but my last vist was odd. I had a sweet lady server and she took my order and brought it correctly but then she stood there and told a very long story about her retired military dogs. Do get me wrong the story was well told with laughs and awes but I hate my entire plate why it was story time.
I am interested to go back and eat something different from thr menu and her another dog story.
I have questions!
During my last visit with my girl I planned ask her an important question but didn't get too because of the waitress.

Giro had a great staff the day I visited, the waiter was incredibly friendly and kind and checked on us frequently. We ordered two pies and one pasta dish. The food came at a reasonable time - 15ish minutes. I got the Calabrese and margarita pizza and rosso pasta. I enjoy thin Neapolitan style pizzas so this was pretty good. The crust was a little hard. I was thoroughly impressed with the pasta and would get it again! They have a glass window see through kitchen that makes it feel immersive and inviting.”

I walked in and based on the smell alone, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The pizza was absolutely delicious! I was so happy.

My only issue is that the sauce contains chunks of tomatoes (I don't like tomatoes). Next time (and there will be a next time), if I can't get less tomatoes, then I'll probably pick out as many as I can by hand. Still a great 🍕!”

The restaurant is small and there is a nonstop in and out of people ordering take out and food delivery pickups. It can be a bit noisy and distracting because of that, thus my three stars. Portions are large and we frequently split a plate of food unless we are there for lunch. Our favorites are the hot and sour soup, chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken and orange chicken. The staff are very friendly, and the service is great. There can be a wait due to the size of the restaurant.”

“We LOVE Dix Cafe and is our favorite in the metroplex. We've gone to many brunch spots but the flavors here are amazing and the decor is lovely. The Greek Omellete is our favorite and I am not even an omellete person! The blueberry pancakes have the perfect outer crispness while being soft and fluffy inside. The waffles are also excellent. I've had the eggs benedict and it is also great. The maple butter syrup is to die for! You truly can't go wrong with any of the food here. My only wish is that they had healthier ketchup that doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup but that's what most places have. Go here, you won't regret it!”

We are huge fans of the red velvet and chocolate chocolate chip which pair beautifully with their cream cheese frosting and are always so moist and wonderful. However, the customer service is what really sets this location apart. I was greeted warmly by smiling faces who were eager to help and watched several customers get in and out super quick while I was there. I had a special request and the owners were happy to try to make it happen and the results were better than I could have hoped. My teenage son was surprised and delighted and that memory will be a highlight forever. Thank you for making that happen!”
