Waiter was spot on with timing and recommendations. Texas bruschetta is always a favorite appetizer. She-Crab soup was so good we asked for the recipe which the sous chef willing provided and broke down portion for us. Will return again and again.“

Christian based program who trains tuition free culinary arts students. You pay by donating any amount you want and it feeds all people of all socioeconomic classes. Kind staff & all the employees from hostess, table clearers, dishwashers, & wait staff volunteer. This was a special experience. I had curry carrot soup, pan seared salmon with artichokes & asparagus with caramelized carrot cake. The restaurant also helps with prayer & if you have an emergency circumstance they have programs that may be able to help. I highly recommend investing your time as well as your donations because it truly does help so many people!“

“I have wanted to eat at this restaurant since learning of it from an Anthony Bourdain show (think it was “No reservations”- but can’t find the episode).It was low key- and my visit was more about sharing an experience with family and homage to an admirable fellow human.The three stars are not a negative reflection of this experience for atmosphere- but a homage to Bourdain - on how he might paint a picture of a low key establishment featuring a dark and western themed corner of the west- sprinkled with a savory dust.The rabbit /rattlesnake sliders - are a “must taste” experience.My oldest son had the elk sliders (appetizers), and finally learned that chewing thoroughly (instead of wolfing) was much more enjoyable (despite taking three orders to fill him).My steak was perfect. No steak has ever been better than my own, but the prime rib being seared was definitely my preference on how the dish was served - and the seasoning used- was unique in that it brought forth and accommodated the essence of the beef.Whether a fan of Bourdain or not- everyone should have a LD experience - and accommodates any other activities might explore at the stockyards.“

“I rarely give 5 stars for all three categories, but I really feel I must for Towne Grill. The food was fantastic and I think the meatloaf there is the BEST I have ever had...grilled on the outside and soft on the inside with a lovely muchroom gravy. The steak salad is also very good...amazing actually. FInally, the kids mac and cheese, fried, and the deviled eggs were all delicious too. The place is very comfortable, clean and well laid out. Capellini Nero is squid ink pasta with lobster; it was so good and there was so much food we were stuffed. Diver scallops on potato cakes were the best I've ever had!“
“ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! Well worth the wait for a home cooked meal done RIGHT! We were greeted with a friendly and warm smile upon entering and thanked for stopping in. Our lovely waitress was eager to help us decide on what to try. As first time diners, we didn't venture out too much from our comfort zones. I had the meatloaf with a side of green beans and scalloped potatoes. Hubby had a cheeseburger with a side of dirty rice. Everything was served hot and full of flavor. Fantastic! The dessert case was far too tempting to avoid partaking. We got the brownie cheesecake, Italian cream cake, AND Hubby's favorite, German chocolate cake to go. I have no doubt these homemade goodies will far surpass the taste and quality of any desserts we've had in some time. We will definitely be returning customers!“

“Slow service... Kind of takes forever for everything. It was our first time here and the entrance is confusing. Also the valet doesn't tell you to validate your parking and neither did our waiter. There was only 3 other tables aside from ours but everything was slow. They bring out Champagne complimentary but we don't drink. Still nice though. I don't think we'll be back, our favorite and usual is capital grille but we were trying to give somewhere else a shot. They also need a dessert menu it's terrible they have to recite even dessert and my the second one you've already forgot what they had. Some of us are visual. Definitely not good business in they sense“

“We went to The Post at River East to see Davy Knowles. The venue was intimate for an impressive acoustic set. (We've seen Knowles the last three times he's been in DFW, and the acoustic show was our favorite.) Service was especially good -- warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food good; we only had a Pinot to drink, but it was more than respectable. A great evening! Thank you!!“
“We've been to Doc B's many times and the food and service have always been impeccable. It's a special place. It's expensive but the quality makes the splurge worth it. We went again on 4/23 and the service was mediocre at best. We had been seated for 30 minutes and still didn't have as much as a water. We eventually asked someone if our waiter was still alive. Br***ly our waiter really phoned it in, at least there were other support staff to bring food, full water glasses etc. It's still a wonderful place, hopefully yesterday was an anomaly.“

“We dined here for the first time before a concert at Dickie's arena and thought it was one of the very best meals we have ever had. The hospitality was on point from the moment we arrived. The restaurant is cozy and inviting. Because we knew we were going to indulge in dessert, we didn't order starters, but fully enjoyed the complimentary basket of fresh-baked muffins and bread. I decided on the carne asada with enchiladas for dinner and my husband couldn't resist ordering the chicken fried steak. Bring your appetite, because the portion sizes are huge! The food is absolutely delicious! Ordering from the dessert tray wasn't easy because everything looked amazing and our server's descriptions made our mouth's water. I ordered the West Texas pecan pie and my husband had the banana pudding. Both were out of this world! Definitely save room for dessert. You won't be disappointed!“

“I go here on a regular basis. Mon-Thur they have breakfast specials and Fri-Sun they offer all you can Buffet. That also comes with add ons. For instance, they may have 5 different style of eggs on buffet, you decided to have an omelet instead. Tell your waitress and there's no extra charges. It's overall great experience. “I ordered 175 of their box lunches and 2 sandwich trays with a large bowl of fresh fruit. Their boxes were packed beautifully, and the fruit was so fresh. Along with each cup of fruit they give their amazing poppy seed dressing. I do not like pasta salad, but I ate every bite of mine. Three days later and the fruit is still so fresh! I ordered some gluten free sandwiches, which were also wonderful. Their tuna fish cannot be beat! Best I have ever had! I have been going to The Lunch Box for years but have never had take out before. They arrived ahead of schedule and are so friendly. “We had the bone marrow and beef tartare appetizers and they both were excellent. I had the steak frites for my meal and they were delicious. My coworker had the pork shank and he said his was awesome also. Our server was excellent and attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful.“
“Went here for bowling and it was fun! The place is very clean and we got our lanes pretty fast since we reserved for a Friday night. I will say the bowling ball options were limited. We were seated upstairs (which I loved) but there were only a lot of light and heavy bowling balls not much in between. And if I did find my size the burr holes were too small or too big. So I had to share with my other party members which wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. Our lane had some issues with the bowling balls getting stuck and they added some time on our lane which was nice. All in all, I would rather go here than your traditional bowling alley. I will say there is a shorter distance to get the to beginning of the lane. But for a laid back good time, Pinstripes is where it’s at!Parking: There is a parking garage across from Pinstripes. May be harder to find street parking so I would just park in the garage.“

“It's a bare bones beer and taco bar. Nothing fancy right on 7th St. It's fun for what it is. The food is good. They serve Margaritas in a plastic cup from a machine I believe ( skipped that observation somehow). The margaritas are icy and frozen and strong. Delicious on a 108⁰ day but not cuisine material otherwise. A single can of beer is $6.50! I should have brought my cooler. They have a classic red velvet cake with caramel sauce that should come with an insulin shot but people- this is a cake worth trying and it's enough for 2!All in all I didn't get to really explore their menu like usual. I went there as a meet up for after party beers. This place is not budget- friendly but you'll enjoy the no fuss atmosphere. The patio is fun EXCEPT it's right on 7th and there will be kids racing cars and bikes, honking, crossing light blinking noises and pedestrians- some are sketchy. Police had to remove a poor soul that but the manager wasn't rude to him and that was a good thing.You gotta go here at least once to experience what going to an easy going, no Frills, gathering place can be. You can walk to other local places too that are right next door. Bring your friend that has bad manners, and always wears cargo shorts and an ugly shirt bc he will fit right in!Tell me what you think.Parking: This was a Wednesday night folks and parking was STUPID. Double parked unoccupied cars and parking lot uneven with broken cement and gravel. There is additional parking in the lots next door behind other bars. Unattended and free for all style. Later parking proved better, after 9 but again, this was a Wednesday. Weekends must be ridiculous.“
