“I have wanted to eat at this restaurant since learning of it from an Anthony Bourdain show (think it was “No reservations”- but can’t find the episode). It was low key- and my visit was more about sharing an experience with family and homage to an admirable fellow human. The three stars are not a negative reflection of this experience for atmosphere- but a homage to Bourdain - on how he might paint a picture of a low key establishment featuring a dark and western themed corner of the west- sprinkled with a savory dust. The rabbit /rattlesnake sliders - are a “must taste” experience. My oldest son had the elk sliders (appetizers), and finally learned that chewing thoroughly (instead of wolfing) was much more enjoyable (despite taking three orders to fill him).My steak was perfect. No steak has ever been better than my own, but the prime rib being seared was definitely my preference on how the dish was served - and the seasoning used- was unique in that it brought forth and accommodated the essence of the beef.Whether a fan of Bourdain or not- everyone should have a LD experience - and accommodates any other activities might explore at the stockyards.“
“My hubby and I were in Ft. Worth for work travel 3/29/24. We wanted a nice meal the night before we left for home. We decided on Ruth Chris.... even though we have them here in Florida. But let me tell you the difference..... Florida can not hold a candle to the AMAZING service that we had in Ft. Worth!! Richard and Adam are 2 of the best servers I have EVER had. They were incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and VERY attentive to us. This was the best experience I have ever had at a Ruth Chris!! They truly made us feel like a King and Queen!! I can not Thank You Gentleman enough for the amazing evening!!“
“My son brought me here for my birthday. Our waitress was named Cheyenne. She had a great attitude, explained the menu very well. Very friendly. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was great. This is definitely on our list of go to restaurants from now on.“
“From a few cocktails and appetizers at the bar before dinner, until they held the door for us on the way out, this was truly a great experience!Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. For starters, HUGE buttery Scallops and The Calamari were some of the best I've ever had.Dinner service was timed well and came out perfect. Beautiful Beef, Beautiful fish, ALL the sides are top notch. You get to pick your own knife, which I thought was a nice touch that will be memorable in the future. If you haven't had enough yet, Dessert is beyond Gluttonous, in all the best ways possible.Bread Pudding, Creme Brulee, 6 Layer Chocolate Cake as tall as a house, were the real MVP's in our party. Our party is no stranger to Steakhouses in DFW and we felt Silver Fox stood out among the crowd.See ya' again soon!Parking: Limited number of spots near restaurants in area. Nearby parking garage always has spaces.“
“Slow service... Kind of takes forever for everything. It was our first time here and the entrance is confusing. Also the valet doesn't tell you to validate your parking and neither did our waiter. There was only 3 other tables aside from ours but everything was slow. They bring out Champagne complimentary but we don't drink. Still nice though. I don't think we'll be back, our favorite and usual is capital grille but we were trying to give somewhere else a shot. They also need a dessert menu it's terrible they have to recite even dessert and my the second one you've already forgot what they had. Some of us are visual. Definitely not good business in they sense“
“Food is mid at best. Taste like most other stake houses. Honestly the staff was amazing. 2 stood out for me. Lauren and Brittney. Both these young ladies had the charm personality and knowledge of their environment. Keep these 2 and I'll for sure keep bringing my family in to eat. I would promote both these ladies cause good help is hard to find“
“The food was good and all, but what made it a 5 star experience was our server. Nancy was absolutely hilarious and an amazing server. Our table was right under the AC and so I was really cold by the time we were ordering. She wasnt able to adjust the temperature so SHE BROUGHT ME HER JACKET!! I have never had such an incredible service experience. At first we were all joking around about it, next thing I know theres a jacket over my shoulders. After our meal was done she put my leftovers in the box for me.“
“I hesitate to give it five stars because I don’t want it to be any busier than it already is. The food is always good and we always have a good time when we go probably eat there with my family at least once every week or two weeks food is consistent and the service is always great.Parking: Large parking lot but when it’s busy, it gets difficult to find a place so you end up on the street and walking or driving around until you see someone backing out.“
“Bobs is in my top 5 steakhouses in the country. Ever since my first experience in the mid 90's, I have been a loyal fan. The Good - As always, the steaks. In our party of 7, we had a variety of cuts with one wagu partner. The steaks at Bobs are always well cut, seasoned, and prepared. Of you are there, just commit to the beef. Carrot - yes, I said it, the carrot. Every dish comes with Bob's amazing root. I've tried for years to describe this to others but have never been able to replicate the amazing side. I“
“Not bad for a chain steak house. Bread and butter are great while you wait for your main course. I had the ribeye with mushrooms on top. It was more of medium rare than medium and the mushrooms on top had more flavor than the steak. Nothing was too bad that it needed to be returned. It's a pretty busy place so be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes to be seated if more than 4 in your party.“
“Tonight’s service by Emilee the bartender was outstanding. Not only as a bartender providing great drinks, but also as a waiter at our table. Very nice, courteous and friendly. During our dinning experience she make sure our order was taken care of properly from beginning to end. Her service did not go unnoticed. Great atmosphere at restaurant too and food was great as well. Highly recommend this location. Thank you Emilee.“
“As soon as we walked we were welcomed by the kind workers. The atmosphere is beautiful you can tell they care about cleanliness and good customer service. Lastly the food was delicious my husband ordered the steak and Mac very flavorful and I ordered the chicken fried steak, loaded baked potato, and Brussel sprouts which were very tasty. Definitely will be returning !Kid-friendliness: They had snacks for the kids such a good idea ??“
“Came here with 3 friends. Our waitress, Jackie F. Was above and beyond. Attentive, funny, warm, and very welcoming. She set the tone for the evening. The filets my girlfriend and I ordered were solid, our friend who ordered a medium rare ribeye got a rare/ blue and was a little bummed, but didn't want to say anything and waste food.“
“My visit to Mercury Chophouse was a delightful experience that I would rate as four stars. The ambience of the restaurant was elegant and sophisticated, creating a perfect setting for a special dining occasion. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. The menu at Mercury Chophouse offered a diverse selection of dishes, and the food was well-prepared and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the quality of the steaks and the flavorful sides that accompanied them. The presentation of the dishes was also impressive, adding to the dining experience. While I had a great time at Mercury Chophouse and would recommend it to others, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of management should let their servers interact and share their knowledge of food and wines. Some really do enjoy the knowledge of what they’re drinking and eating. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that I would happily revisit in the future.“
“We traveled through Fort Worth as part of a choir trip and happened to come across Risky's during our lunch break. There was a group of 10 of us, and they welcomed us in, shortly after opening time (11 a.m.). If you're looking for a place with quick service, an outgoing and accomodating waiter(Greg)., and 5-star food, this is the place to be! Our server, Greg, found out why we were here and even told us about his previous experience in choir/theater/public speaking, etc.! A 5/5 experience. Everyone said their dish was great! And I got the best BLT of my life, plus the soup of the day, all for less than $10. Side note: Some of us did remark that a few more savory dishes had a high salt content, but were still tasty!Plus: it's just down the street from the cattle drive, which is viewable on Fridays at 11:30 a.m. and they even let us leave to see it while we were waiting on our food. :)Free bread and waters as well! Cannot rave enough about this place! Wholeheartedly recommend!!!“
“Texas Roadhouse is a lively place, especially on the weekend. Lots of families, birthday celebrations, etc. The food is always delicious. The staff are friendly & efficient. My family and I eat there all the time. Check it out. I believe you will go back again and again.“
“We went in about 4ish and there were alot of empty tables. She said it would be about 10 minutes ok no problem. So we were waiting and it seemed they were having issues with there system which became obvious as people were coming in and getting seated right away. After about 20 minutes or so we were seated and it was all good from there.“
“Great spot in the heart of the Stockyards! Can't go wrong with just about anything on the menu. Steaks are great and the cheese and onion enchiladas with Chile con carne are the best! One thing I'd like to point out, though. The three girls/hostesses at the front never cracked a smile in the hour and a half that we waited.“
“Went here to eat a delicious steak while we were in the area. I asked locals for recommendations on best place and they said this or H2. The food here was delicious. Only issue I had was the food took a bit of time to come out. Other than that it was really good.“
“Favorite items were the cucumber salad from the salad bar and the perfect ending cocktail. Service is perfect, no complaints. Server advised that the meats are all cooked medium rare and seasoned with rock salt. Most were a bit overcooked and a bit saltier than desired, but the option is there to ask for them cooked differently and without salt as long as you are willing to wait. Cocktails are pricey. Overall, we spent close to $100 per person after well earned tip.“
“We went there on Friday for our 16 year anniversary. Cat was our server & she was awesome; very knowledgeable & attentive. The drinks and appetizers were good. We had the lobster bisque (best I've ever had) and oysters on the half shell. The bread was just ok IMO. My husband the special, haddock, which definitely wasn't worth $57. The portion was tiny. I had the surf & turf. The steak has incredibly tender. I gave my husband one of the steak medallions because he was still hungry from the small fish entree. We took the lemon cake & chocolate mouse cake to go for dessert. The lemon cake was a huge slice and so fluffy & moist. However the chocolate mouse cake was a little dry and was only a sliver of a slice. Again, not worth the price of $13. I would've given 5 stars except I got food poisoning from either the chocolate cake or the lump crab on top of one of the medallions. I'm not sure we would go back; that sort of taints your experience.“
“Worth every penny! Great service, great food - and all around wonderful evening celebrating my best friends birthday. Our server was thoughtful, attentive and professional. Cozy piano side seating - the musician, a joy to chat with. Our appetizer salads (Wedge and Buratta/Beet) - delightful. Our main course (Steak and King Crab, Steak and Sea Scallops) - 10 stars. Would highly recommend dessert (Bananas Flambé). Would totally patron again.“
