“Got a small cup of frijoles charros and they lacked flavor for me. The fact that they don't take cards is a big bummer. I would have loved to try more items. But, their tacos de asada were great. Maybe the next time we're in Rockport, we'll have more cash on hand. Definitely want to try more!“
“A taco trailer, rather than a truck, but still some of my favorite al pastor tacos anywhere. Closed on Wednesdays, which is always difficult to remember, this place is also a favorite for pretty much everyone in my family. In the mornings, I like their egg and sausage or egg and chorizo, al pastor on corn with cilantro and onions is my go-to for lunch. The tacos are always piping hot and you can grab a Mexican Coke to go with them, if you'd like to eat at the picnic table there or in your car. The folks who run the truck are friendly and fast - everything you want when you're looking for a taco. If you wanted to grab some to take over to the beach, they'll still be plenty warm when you get to the pavilions to sit down. Bring cash, it's worth it.“
“WOW! Absolutely amazing boudin. The best boudin I have had in 60 years! I have eaten every boudin imaginable and all over LA. From some places that are supposed to be the best in the world. But they are no comparison to what Brian makes.Oyster Po-Boy was delicious. Oysters were perfectly fried and not overdone. “Damn good food and friendly service! I had the Shrimp po' Boy and hush puppies.Shrimp Po boy was loaded with everything. Shrimp was fresh and fried and good oil. You know the oil is good if the fried shrimp comes out a real light tan color... Hush Puppies weren't huge but big enough and they were tasty! I would definitely hit this food truck up again, its right next to Lulu's! Prices were fair and the portion was generous.“
“Ay yi yi! Calientes tacos pronto! This place makes some fresh, hot tacos quickly. Their specialty seems to be breakfast tacos. Order something, and before you can get done asking for what you want, they're on the griddle back there chopping and cooking. The tortillas are fresh and hot, the taco fillings are phat, and the salsas are muy picoso! I was super excited that this place is dishing out such fresh tacos. It's a little intimidating to get to, since they create so much traffic along Business 35, it can be difficult to find a parking spot.
