“Came here based on a recommendation and it was pretty good. We should really come back for a fair assessment but our experience wasn't anything that would prevent us from coming back. The food was good, the service was a little slow. The atmosphere was kinda like old school cafe style. I had the catfish and she had the shrimp, both fried.

“The best kept (not so) secret in Gainesville! I drove through town and ventured off the main road away from the chains and found a place that will force me to come back! The staff took their time explaining in detail the coffees and pastries and got me setup with an iced carmel coffee that I’m still thinking about 24 hours later. I judge all pastry shops on the basic sugar cookie and Sweet Jayne handed me a rich, soft golden cookie with the right hint of lemon that makes me want to slap my pappy! I also tried the raisin pecan and lemon raspberry bar. Everything in this place will make you question your grandmothers talent! I also got the pleasure of talking with the owner as she was trying new homemade items to possibly put on the menu. I got the strong impression that I may have found perfection, but she never will. She explained that she makes every item from scratch every morning - nothing is brought in. No wonder it’s sooo good! She threw in an oatmeal cream pie just because I said hello. Folks, get off the beaten path and find a little heaven in Gainesville. Thank you Sweet Jayne’s’!!”

“The food was typical fast food no better than worse than most the service was spectacular even though it was lunch time in the nearby high school kids showed up right in front of me. I'm talking they walked in one door and I came in the other door right behind a large crowd of them they fantastic staff at this location got our food to us quicker than a lot of locations that are doing nothing but our meal would have done. Staying ahead of that crowd of starving children and still getting my food to me promptly was mind-blowing. The atmosphere is a loud fast food place so not a great atmosphere in my opinion but no worse than any other loud food place with lots of teenagers in it exclamation point”

“I stopped for gas and to use the restroom. Saw the sign for Indian food. There were other food choices but I was willing to take a chance. I was given fresh, hot Samosas, garlic Naan, rice, and chicken Tikka Masala. It was all delicious! The total was more than I was expecting; however, it was such a nice treat, the guy who waited on me was very friendly, the Christian music I was listening to made me feel good, and the place was clean, plus I could make two meals out of it so I left a tip also and agreed to write a review on google. I also left them a brochure for CCHero.org so I hope they make that switch to save money and give to charity.”

“The Orchard Bistro has the freshest and most delicious meals. This is my favorite spot in Gainesville. Jeff and Maggie are the kindest and well informed when it comes to health and wellness. (I’m sure on plenty of other subjects too) I’ve tried quite a few of their products and love the results. I’ve asked their advice numerous of occasions and they always have a well educated answer. The atmosphere is perfect and they have a great location, not to far from the square. The coffee, the tea, the food, the healthcare products/ herbs, are all top quality. You won’t find another place like it.”

The portions of what I order (Steak tacos with cilantro and cheese) is more than fair for the price. You get a fresh lime wedge. Everything is cooked fresh too! I've formed a taco addiction. But its all good. The food is worth it. The cashiers are amazingly nice. They make me feel like an old family friend, because ive been there so much this week haha, they're really great. This place is overall a 12/10. If you don't try it you are missing out on the best chance youll take in 2019. Its your year go make it! Go eat tacos”

“I had a hunch this place was the real deal the moment I stepped out of my truck. The aroma of freshly smoked meat mixed with sweet and tangy BBQ flavor inundated the gravel parking lot. A scent so overwhelmingly captivating, I couldn’t help but follow it to its source. I walked through the front doors of 902 and was immediately greeted by a charismatic waiter who promptly served us drinks. The menu was concise, yet powerful. Along with the atmosphere, all menu items complemented a cold beer and a sports game. I went with the brisket grilled cheese sandwich, served on 100% USDA Texas Toast. Mouthwatering is an understate, to say the least. After I consumed my fair share in cheesy caloric delight, the owner came out and greeted us with a warm smile, and freshly smoked chicken. My favorite part about this establishment is its commitment to keeping things simple, yet refining its craft through friendly employees, quality ingredients, and a home town feel. I look forward to my next visit.”

“Great burger on a road trip. We stopped on the way to Austin. It’s a small restaurant with just 4-5 tables inside next to a gas station. The burgers were delicious. Onion rings were crispy. I had never had a fried pie before. We spilt a cherry and coconut cream. Delicious. Would recommend.”

Fries were very salty but I love the skinny style. Onion rings could have been cooked a bit more for extra crunch but those were great too. Overall I'd recommend, way better than your normal fast food burgers.”

“I’m impressed with this cicis. For a buffet style restaurant it was well kept especially for having so many kids in there. I’d say cleanliness was 4/5 which isn’t a bad thing. The manager (gentleman with long hair) was super nice and helpful. All the pizzas were hot and fresh. Freshly made tea, no weird tasting water. I ate a lot and enjoyed everything!”
