“Whenever I visit the island I ask local friends to recommend places I haven’t yet tried. This is how I found Gonzalo’s. What a great recommendation! Had a great chat with the owners. Got a breakfast burrito to go and ate it while watching the waves roll in. The burrito was OUTSTANDING and so are Angela and Felipe. I will be back and next time I’m going to dine in. Super cute and cozy in there. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: You are allowed to sub. I swapped out bacon for avocado on my burrito.“

Our visit was brief and we needed a place to have brunch, they seated us immediately and the place was mostly empty.I ordered The Chorizo and Egg Quesadilla and my sister ordered the Chicken and Waffles which we highly recommend. Our waiter was Jerome. “This is the small restaurant inside the Tremont. Upgraded from the Starbucks cafe which used to be there. Twice we’ve had the wild mushroom flatbread pizza and we love it. $19 well spent! Rebecca was friendly and efficient and our pizza was fresh and delicious! No pix, we are it too fast. We turn on our oven to 350, bring it home, eat two slices while we keep the rest warm after turning the oven off. The crust is thin and crispy and you don’t feel stuffed after eating the entire pizza.“
