“The chelsea is a stylish and quaint lounge-like restaurant serving up tasty bites and delicious cocktails. Their staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The design of the restaurant speaks for itself, with its dim lighting and modern decor. They do the classic cocktails right, with their specialty being martinis. All their food is delicious, particularly their east coast oysters. The beet and whipped feta salad was delicious as well, you must try it. Their happy hour at the bar is one of the best in the city and being open late on the weekends gives time for a night cap in the montrose neighborhood. “I wish I had taken pictures of the food! The owner and staff of this place are obviously super passionate about their food and service. Each person that took care of us was very knowledgeable about the menu and were quick with helpful and informed advice on wine pairings and other details. This is common enough in many high-performance restaurants, but what isn't, is that they returned afterwards to ask our opinion and make sure their recommendations hit the mark.We started with the charcuterie board, which was very thoughtfully put together and accented by excellent house-made pickles and preserves and mustard. We followed that with the Cataplana Mussels, which my wife absolutely ADORED, and Le Cochon ("the pig") which was probably some of the best pork I have ever eaten (and anyone who knows me will tell you that this is high praise from me!)It was a very busy Saturday night, and the kitchen was short-staffed. The manager and each of our servers made sure to mention this and apologize for it.Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience and I am looking forward to going again and taking friends!“
“I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered the breakfast burger and it was delicious. The mimosas were good too. We arrived early, but I must warn you that after 12p, it gets crowded. It would be great if they could add some extra shade to the patio area, as I imagine it will get very hot during the summer.“
“Overall this place is good. I went during lunch hours (12-2) and it wasn’t packed at all. The tables were clean, the waitress was very welcoming and even had a great sense of humor. The music selection was very dated and appropriate for the hour.We were seated immediately and our drink orders taken promptly. I would have gave it five starts but the cups we received were not that clean.Other than that the food was good. I had the Watermelon margarita and the Mongolian beef with steamed rice which was fresh and had plenty of flavor.My daughter had the Cajun sushi roll and the Spicy Salmon which she enjoyed. Overall, I will definitely come back.Prices were reasonable for the amount of food we got.“

We spoke with her over my birthday brunch and she was so informative, welcoming and sweet! I told her about my family birthday dinner at Coppa Osteria the next night and she ensured she would see us over there as well. She made sure we got everything we wanted, and even hand delivered my short rib ragu pasta from next door!! The customer service and experience is always amazing and she made my birthday dinner special!“
