“The food and atmosphere are great!!! For the service though, well its just pure Awesomeness makes the food and atmosphere even better. The server was very attentive and very happy to see us, well at least i felt that way. Then well, we got our food, eggplant parm and pizza!!! My pizza came out in my opinion very very good. The chef on the other hand didnt like what he sent out but probably didnt want us waiting longer, not that we were waiting long at all. He sent out another pizza and apologized for the "burnt" pizza, which it wasnt. Well i did accept the pizza cause the first one delicious and they insisted. So i was more than happy with eveything and definitely gonna get back in going there regularly even though I don't live close anymore.“

“Great place! Was in the area and saw this hidden gem tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Pat Booker Rd. Served me with a smile and pleasant attitude, even though I was dining alone. The restaurant is clean and the cuisine was delicious! I had the veal parmigiana which isn’t easy to find in the San Antonio area. Thank you!“

“We had the pleasure of dinning there last night for the 1st time. The menu is a bit overwhelming at first but makes sense the more you look at it. The person who I assumed was the owner was very friendly. They make some great New York style pizza, I will definitely be returning.“

“I walked in to pick up my carry out. I was promptly greeted with a friendly hello. I got the pappardelle bolognese, my husband got the fettuccine Della casa both small, and split the arancini. Everything was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauce had great flavor. My husband thought the flavors married well and liked the crispiness of the pancetta. We both liked the Arancini. It was crispy the outside and a good cheesy texture on the inside. My only little complaint is that the size of the small was a little too small, but we are both big eaters. I highly recommend this restaurant“

“A quaint Pizza joint that makes tasty pizza! The crust is cooked perfectly and compliments the sauce and toppings. I had the supreme sans olives and my wife had a Canadian bacon with pineapple. Apparently they do make margarita pizza, but wasn't listed in the store. I saw it online.Note that there's no public restrooms, but there's a gas station right next door if the need arises.It wasn't crowded so there were plenty of seats available inside. However we wanted to enjoy the weather that day.Totally recommend!“

“Try the Italian food here. We had the chicken piccata and wife had the lasagna. Friends had the two specials, see pics. The service was fast, a good atmosphere with some great Italian music by Frank and Dino and the food was delicious and served hot. We loved it all!“

“Highly recommend this spot. We ordered breadsticks as our appetizer. My husband ordered the 10 inch pothole pizza, and I got the calzone with mushrooms and artichokes. Everything was awesome. The service was great as well as the food. It wasn't busy at all, so our food came out quickly. We will definitely be back.“

“I travel in RV and am always searching for a good pie. My Supreme pie from Mattenga's was excellent. The first thing you'll notice is a plethora of fresh toppings. Since I got a supreme, it was loaded with fresh veggies (in addition to peppperoni and sausage). I'm talking lots of veggies and enough red sauce (slightly sweet tang) to make every bite enjoyable. Being from Upstate NY, I tend to prefer NY style thin crust but their crust, while thicker, was semi-firm but light and chewy at the same time. Thanks for a great pie!“

“My husband and I had our first date there 7 years ago. We just got married and I had been wanting to take him back. Last night we finally had our first date night and it was so perfect! “Been checking this place out for a few weeks. I went in tonight cause I left my dinner at home on the counter, and they just gave me a pizza that another customer called paid for and then decided they didnt want it. So I took it, never had their pizza before, its pretty dang good. Im not even a fan of NY style pizza, im from Buffalo, so Neapolitan is my preferred. “Me and my husband ordered one pizza. It was $32 to be delivered for a large pizza. I got the tomato basil with extra cheese. It said it was supposed to have garlic had no garlic garlic is very powerful and I couldn’t taste any garlic. Also, the toppings were maybe the size of a personal pizza in the middle the rest of it crust there was about 3 inches of crust. If I had not ordered extra cheese, I have no idea where all the toppings would have been. All I tasted was cheese and bread. I could’ve saved myself $25 went to Little Caesars and got there Italian breadsticks. And it would’ve had more flavor. Won’t be ordering from here Again. Very disappointed. I ended up giving the last piece to my dog. It was delicious and made correctly. I loved it. They made up further mistake. I would order them again. Whoever made the pizza the last time I ordered to get new training.“
