“The girls and I found this place through a local resident! It's out in the middle of nowhere, but it was good food and great service! They have live music too. There is an area behind the restaurant where people can eat outside or the kids can run around.“
“Went in yesterday driving through glenrose. Guy the street tacos and the wife got the fajita chicken chimichonga that she split with my mom. I really liked my street tacos but the wife reported that the chimichonga was not very good as did my mom who halved it with her. On the plus side, one of my favorite things about Mexican restaurants is the chips and salsa before the meal. Or waitress kept our chip bowl full and the salsa was pretty good despite being very mild. The waitress was great on all counts. I'd still recommend this place just not the chimichanga; that's silly texmex anyway. I wouldn't mind going back and trying other things.“
“Quaint Colonial turned into a restaurant which has some nice charm. The Voodoo pasta was good bjt was not quite what I expected l. The shrimp was cajun seasoned snd nicely done. The rest was fettuccine pasta and sauce not spicy at all so not what I consider cajun. Ahi tuna was nicely done but rice was dry and veggies didn’t have much flavor. The desserts were good. Overall probably a 4.3 or so on average. Wait staff was very nice and polite.“
“Definitely, recommend Whisky Woods! Atmosphere is great! Food was amazing. It is nice to have a little more upscale place to go to in our little town. Service was great. Angel was our server and he did amazing. It was a bit loud in there but I hear they are working on it. I had the filet which was delicious and cooked exactly how I wanted. The shrimp cocktail was amazing too. I would definitely give this place a try!“
