“I was in town for a VB tourney & found this place. I ordered 2 lunch plates, they were $9 each. Service was fast and foodwas good. The rice and ground beef could use more seasoning and the texture of our taco shells were a little stale, not crunchy.I would give this place a try again if we visit again.”
“I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while as I live close by and they did not disappoint! The food is incredible! Definitely recommend to anyone and can’t wait to come back and bring more ”
“Went on SAT. Live music and a great selection of beer. They had a handful of wine options for those who prefer it. They only had one bartender serving both the outside window and inside so there were good long lines waiting at both for beverages. I have a feeling it wasn't the norm and the bartender was moving as fast as possible with a smile on his face. Will try them again.”
“Correa Chinese Cuisine is absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive and every entree is tasty and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend this place for people dining in Taylor, Tx.”
“Louie Muellers is the undisputed king of the beef rib. When I find myself in Texas, I always make a stop at Louie Muellers. I love the authentic feel of the restaurant. You feel like you're stepping back in time. If you find yourself near Austin, skip the hours long wait at Franklin's and make the drive to Louie Muellers.”
“Everything was bursting with flavor! I got pulled pork nachos and my husband got fried chicken. Both were delicious. We got a slice of apple pie for dessert and it was delectable, the crust and filling were perfect.”
“This place is amazing; food, drinks, owners and staff. New favorite spot in Taylor. ? You can tell there is a ton of thought and passion behind all the lil details.Went in for the first time last Friday, we met the owners and staff. They were awesome genuine people. Got the sense this is their “love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life” kind of set up.The food was well crafted. We got the OG, smoked chicken pozole, and the green chili pork. All three were perfection. I hear they have a killer burger on Fridays, you have to get there early to get one. ‘Doesn’t matter how many they throw on the grill, they sell out.’Drinks! I got the martini… one of the best I’ve ever had. That means a lot.The place felt spacious but warm and welcoming. Music was great!***Ended up counting down the days until they were open again and went back for more. ?Vegetarian options: It’s a small menu, so not a ton of options. But 2 of the 6 items are vegetarian. Salad w/ tofu, brussels, and then there are some options for sides. Kimchi, cucumber salad, vin coleslaw, etc.”
“Had a sausage wrap and some brisket, it was so delicious! Spicy barbecue sauce was yummy and not too spicy as what I thought it would be. Hands down, 10 out of 10. Friendly service as well, thank yall ☺️”
“I ate here recently and it was a good experience at all although it was better at the end than the beginning. I am not thrilled by the atmosphere of this place. It's a massive, open indoor area and the lighting is a bit cold and inconsistent: part of the area has lighting that is too bright and harsh, and other parts are dark. If they could fix it and make for more consistent, softer, warmer lighting (maybe use 2700K LED's, with more, but smaller bulbs, instead of the big ceiling lights with one turned on and another off) that would do a lot to improve the experience. The food was exquisite with one exception. The chips and beans they brought out at the beginning were WAAAY too salty and we could not eat them. However, the rest of the meal was fantastic. We ordered a pupusa, and a big bowl of vegetable soup that came with fried chicken on the side, also tamales, which came with a side of this tangy cabbage slaw. Everything was top-notch, cooked to perfection, perfectly balanced, very fresh ingredients. You could tell they had made everything from scratch. Service was a little slow but that's to be expected for stuff made with care. I am very glad we ate here, but I think some things could be done to improve the experience, notably, make the chips and beans brought out to the table much less salty, and then also improve the lighting. This is a big open indoor space and it feels a bit cold and sterile, softening the lighting could do a lot.”
“This place has pretty good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Wish they had more pastry options and that parking was a little easier. It is better for working or when strolling through downtown, not as quick to get in and out for on the go coffee and breakfast.”
“Great tasting BBQ and country sides. Moist brisket, pork ribs (short and long) and sometimes mutton. (Wow) I enjoy my BBQ sauce on the side for dipping my bread instead of on my meat's.Desert's available cakes and cobbler's. Also a few grocery items. Meat's from the freezer and can good's. Friendly folk. But there early, or call, because they do run out of stuff.Continued success to you now and in the future.Parking: Easy access in and out leading to Main Street.”
“Great value for your money. It's all home made. They're a little light on the seasoning but still five stars. They're very friendly and accommodating. Plus it's 3-4 minutes from the Taylor Samsung facility. Can't beat it for what I've found in Taylor so far. It's not a bunch of classically trained French chef's. This is Grandma's house. ?? ”
“Delicious breakfast tacos! Their freshly made flour tortilla is so good that it makes any meal extra. The staff is very friendly and attentive, too. Highly recommend restaurant.”
“This place is so wonderful in so many ways. We popped in for a quick lunch on a busy Saturday. My husband and I shared the Beef crispy Tacos and he had a shrimp spring roll. So yummy!! We both had some really yummy adaptogen Sparkling waters. We plan on going back sometime and trying the shaved ice. It looked soooo good. There's lots to look at. While we were eating we were looking around at all the little things that were interesting. It's such a cool spot. I think the owner is the one that helped us today and she was the sweetest. Great energy from this place. I'm hoping they stick around for a long time.Dietary restrictions: I saw vegetarian and gluten free options. They seem pretty adaptable. Just ask!!”
“This was my first experience with a birria taco. One bite of this crispy and utterly delicious taco took my taste buds straight to the spirit world. Damn these things are good...”
“It's a real chill spot to drink beer and play pool if the table is open. Their whole menu is good, but the hidden gem is their unbelievably good cheese sticks.”
“I am almost 50 years old and today, I ate the VERY BEST CHEESEBURGER I have ever had! It was from this place! Don’t let the outside fool ya! This was so good. I wish I would have taken a picture. It was so good, I ate it quickly.”
“We live in a small town with 3 Mexican restaurants, I'm 35 and this is by far the BEST Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I wish we lived closer. The staff was great the atmosphere was inviting and everything we ordered was fresh and homemade.”
“Ordered delivery of stuffed Supreme pizza through the Slice app. Didn't realize it had all the toppings. The pepperoni plus mushrooms I ordered as toppings were stuffed with the cheese into the very large crust. This pizza was huge, with one slice filling me up. Taste was very good, so I'd go back and order something smaller”
“Best taco...u gotta get tha Supper Breakfast taco..it's ah "BEAST" !!! Ol school..excellent tacos! and ol school prices and very good quality food! U gotta check'em out!!! i got turned on..now im sharing wit yall!! Have a blessed day!!!”
“The best fish and chips! The fish is dense, moist and the batter is delicious.Kid-friendliness: Large open field for kids to run and play. We like to bring a ball so they can play.”
“Mexican Burger Burrito Quesadilla is deliciousI had lunch close to Taylor Samsung Hyeonja Mess.I'm solving it cheaply.Parking: There are about five tables in the store. There are about three outside tables, but there are a lot of people buying and taking things away, so it isn't too crowded. It takes about 15 minutes to cook upon order. You have to wait”
“Don't let the big sign out front that says Luigi's Italian fool you. It's Monarchas! I been in Taylor for two years and have tried everything here besides the fried chicken drive throughs and the Stockade place...and this is hands down the best place to eat in town. Great Tex Mex, the burger is solid but you can skip the queso...it's too much like Nacho Cheese. Get the Queso Flamado instead. Great service and super quick! Yum!!”
“The Bulldog Special breakfast burrito was amazing. The buttery eggs were cooked to perfection, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It had the perfect combination of ingredients, leaving me satisfied and craving more. Overall, a truly amazing culinary experience that I would highly recommend to anyone craving a delicious breakfast treat. You can’t beat the price as well.”
“One should not visit Taylor without stopping at TBC. It was sad to see them shut down their tap room in downtown Taylor, considering they were pivotal in it's revitalization. But they've opened up at their brewery down the road. It's such a great place with an awesome backyard vibe. They often welcome local food vendors and continue to be an important part of making Taylor great. I'm always proud when I see their beer in other parts of the state. Make sure to tour their facitlity and pull up a stool to have a few beers while you're there. Grab yourself a six-pack when you see them at your local grocery and support small business and small craft beering!”
“Elegant, cozy and dedecant. I had the goat cheese and soft preztles and washed it down with hisbsicus rose tea. Later I had a cocktail that tasted like something out of a fairytale. The music was relaxing and the overall vibe made it hard to leave. The furniture was comfortable too. The owners are interesting and intelligent people. I learned new things while speaking to them. Overall, this is place was amazing. There was something to relax the heart, mind and soul here.Honestly, this is the first place to look for me if you cant find me.Vegetarian options: Nearly every thing was vegatarian or could be made vegatarianKid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. The owners are parents. Kids are welcome until later in the evening.”
“My husband always calls ahead with a tamale order, she always has them ready for us, and they are delicious! My favorite is the cream cheese jalapeno. It's always lovely doing business with ”
“I’ve been all over the state of Texas for work. Not from this town at all. Can honestly say, one of the best cheese burgers I’ve ever had! Flavor was Exceptional. Nice mom and pop shop. If you’re in the mood for a great cheese burger and are in the area, HIGHLY recommended.”
“Had lunch here Friday as part of a group of 11. We called ahead and they had a table ready for us when we arrived. I don't know our server's name, but she was fantastic and the service was very quick. The fried pickles were great -- nice and crispy with just a little kick to them. I had the fried fish plate with green beans and mashed potatoes. Thin pieces of fish breaded with crispy cornmeal. Just like the fish I grew up eating in South Mississippi. Delicious! I loved the green beans as well. They were southern style with some pieces of tomato in them. I can't tell you how many times I've passed this place and never even noticed it. Would definitely return, especially on a Friday when they are serving fish!”
