“This is a super cute tiki style restaurant! Very creative home made burgers with choices of specialty hot dogs! The seating is out doors but there is so much creative decor! Very friendly wife and husband duo! We fell in love with the flavors and the special jumbo fries! We will be visiting again!Kid-friendliness: My picky kids really enjoyed their fresh made burgers!”

“Absolutely incredible. A great hole in the wall type place. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but it’s what’s inside that counts. The Philly Cheesesteak was perhaps the best I ever had. My wife had the Italian hoagie and it was outstanding as well. You can’t go wrong with either the onion rings or fries on the side. Will definitely come again when in town.”

“Y’all. It’s not just cool for Corpus, it’s JUST SO COOL! I’m 33F and a lifelong potterhead. Came in for the weekend to visit grandparents and it popped up on my instagram. They were busy but quick, accommodating to allergies, and the over all atmosphere was so dreamy. My kids had Basic Witches (butterbeer-like) and they were able to do one with almond milk for my lactose intolerant kid. I had the Luna Love Apple iced with and extra shot and it was tasty. MUST VISIT if you’re in Corpus suffering Muggles ?.”

“Incredible service followed up with even more incredible food. I usually order the grilled fish tacos that are coated in the most amazing coco loco sauce but this time I got a fried fish basket with onion rings, and let me tell you...BEST FRIED FISH FILLET I have ever had. Not only that, I'm enjoying my plate while listening to an amazing live band play. Definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try - but keep in mind - YOU WILL BE HOOKED!! “I’m sure the food is delicious every day of the week but if you were not there on March 19, 2024 you truly missed out! There was not a crumb left behind! I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and black eyed peas! Cornbread too which was also amazing. The fried chicken looked so good I put the honey and butter on it instead of the cornbread 10/10!! Everything was a 10/10! From the music to the staff. It was me and my best friends first time visiting corpus and we DEFINITELY will be back! Hands down best southern food restaurant I’ve been to. Amber was AMAZING! We even had to let the chef know that he didn’t miss a beat in the kitchen! ❤️❤️ Oh and I had the sock it to me cake for dessert DELICIOUS!!”

“The Annex is an amazing spot to hang with friends. The chill atmosphere and delicious drinks made by skilled and friendly bartenders made our trip to downtown Corpus Christi that much more special. I can’t wait to visit again hopefully on a Trivia night or one of their other fun activity nights. We also loved the side patio with the heaters that kept us warm. We highly recommend The Annex and will be back!!!”

“Awesome local coffee shop. I had the “Ebony and Ivory” and a cinnamon roll… fantastic. The barista was quick, professional, and courteous. While I was sitting down for my study, I was impressed with how she was getting other peoples drinks out. The prices are fair and the restroom was clean, idk what else to say, they were ”

“So I’m giving a 5 star because this place is a hidden gem and incredibly nice. But……. The place was dead at 12am on Saturday night. The owner was drunk off his (you know what) (DOHisA) the lady next to him also (DOHerA) the girl next to her was blitzed as in gone. Not a good look for them. And owners should never be behind the bar while drunk. The bartender was new but excellent. The food was :/. With the right marketing and management this place could and should be packed every night its open. There are two bars with in walking distance and should be utilized to y’all’s benefit.You also need to make people feel welcome when they come in and not make it your personal playground, because that’s what it felt like.So please step up your game!!”

“This place is a great place to escape. It’s relaxing, the staff is friendly, the bbq always taste on point, the buckets of beer are reasonably priced. If you can catch them on a Friday or Saturday your in for a treat of some live local music. Great place for families or friends to gather for lunch and a drink. Love that it’s located right on the La Quinta ship channel, you get to see some huge ships go by and it’s beautiful. Now let’s get to that sunset, breath taking. “Weekend stop in CC and this was walkable to where we were staying. Even though they were busy we got seated at sushi bar. Sapporo served with cold glasses. Bento box was delicious - chicken with sesame, rice, house salad with ginger dressing, tempura vegetables and a plate of sashimi. They even included two bite size cheesecake - I love a sweet dessert to finish a meal. Server checked on us a few times.”

The burgers are ridiculously good and in the area possibly the best dive bar grill, but not staph infection dice but more just easy rider dive. The service is a little slow but in the era of not enough workers this is to be expected, hey more time for an extra beer.”

“Don’t be thrown off by the shack-looking vibe you get upon initial search of this place. Although there’s not that many options for specifically Thai cuisine, the basic curries are amazing. Plus, if you’re vegetarian, anything can be changed to fit your diet at this place. The service isn’t horrible but not amazing. Imagine a little worse than an Olive Garden. It seems they may be a little understaffed so I understand the mix up with an order they had with us. The quantity you get for the price you pay is unbeatable anywhere else in Corpus. For solely that, I rate this place a 5 stars! I had no complaints about the taste of the food and the spice levels were just right. Just check it out and support them!”

“WOW!! Anyone hungry for good food should stop by Garret’s BBQ. Brisket was so tender, so juicy, so full of flavor, NOT so peppery flavored like some places and just delicious! The bbq sauce only enhanced the great flavor we were already enjoying but you really don’t even need the sauce to enjoy this bbq. My husband suggested we try this new place on Holly Road and I’m so glad we did. We’ll definitely be back to try the ribs ?”
