“Still had an unused gift card from Christmas. Joined the wait list online, so we bypassed the crowd waiting outside. Had the chicken fried chicken, baked potato, house salad, and tea. Servings were big enough to get two meals. The only concern I have is the loud music. I think we were seated under a speaker. We will definitely go back.“

And to make it even worse they insist on playing loud music. It's SO loud you can't enjoy your food.If you want to have a conversation with your dining partners, try to snag a table in the bar (and when has dining in the bar been quieter than the dining room?) or even better on the patio.Wheelchair accessibility: Most of the restaurants are easily accessible. Unfortunately, there are only two handicapped parking spaces. I'm not sure how they get away with that.“

“4.0 STARS. What a nice ole Cafe. Just like it should be. The corn bread is a mid but the biscuit is the best in the world! Ask for honey. The chicken fried chicken was good but not out of this world. It had good flavor and the quality of cut was nice and not frozen. I was hoping it was bigger. The breading on it was different. Maybe a touch of panko with flour? No idea, it was light and flaky.l and good. Gravy was gravy. The server was great but the time for food to table was poor. This was our first date as an engaged couple and we were so excited to try this place but I felt like our experience could've been better. Our table wobbled, and we had to ask to be moved. The bacon is flavorful but doesn't overwhelm the burger taste. The size is good.Fries are crinkle. Mine were a bit too salty. They will redo if you ask but I didn't care to because the burger was big enough to fill me up.The frozen custard is a perfect combo of melted like a shake with decent amounts of spoon scouping custard. “We went to Ida Claire to celebrate a friend’s birthday and towards the end of the meal one of our friend’s had a medical emergency that resulted in calling the paramedics. Let me tell you that the staff here was amazing. Not only did they come help during the situation the manager ended up paying for our meal. They were absolutely wonderful and very professional. “I have been looking for a place that has authentic Matzah Ball soup since I moved to San Antonio on 2017. Now in 2024 I am pregnant and have been craving it non stop, it was by luck I found the Hayden on Uber eats however I was never able to order as it always said the restaurant was busy. So last night 4/3/2024 my husband and I decided to make the drive to try it out. Needless to say I was blown away at how good the food was. My husband had the Hayden Burger which he gave a 10/10. I asked our server to give compliments to the chef as this was the first Matzah Ball soup I had since I was able to visit my in laws who made it from scratch wayyy back in 2005.Only con I would say was the lemonade was SOUR SOUR, it could just be my wacked out taste buds due to pregnancy. Overall we would definitely be back again, just wish it wasn't such a far drive from us.“

The Tripel Volunteer was pretty authentic for a Belgian Tripel. However, the MKII Doppelbock fell well short of an authentic German Doppelbock... it went flat in a hurry, tasting as if it spent some time in a whiskey barrel, and also had a smell of vinegar on the nose. Even so, I recommend Longtab as a good craft beer venue. Prompt friendly service. I'm a veteran and I give these veterans a big thumbs up!“

“Went to San Antonio for my birthday this past weekend, couldn’t figure out something to eat and ended up at The Magic Time Machine. We sat in Bruno’s section, and let me tell you , this was absolutely the best service we’ve ever had. We got a good laugh the whole night and some good food. Bruno was the best server and was great at his job and acting. Would highly recommend this place, as well as sitting with him! Will always remember this place, and will definitely be back. Bruno needs a raise or promotion!!!!“

We enjoyed migas, French toast bites, biscuits and gravy, a jicama and cucumber salad, thick-sliced pepper bacon, fried chicken, freshly cut fried potatoes and lemon bars.The standouts were the migas. They were prepared an unorthodox way, but they were delicious nonetheless. The potatoes were perfectly done and were covered with a delicious sauce. The peppered bacon slice was substantial. The small biscuits were a little dense, but the cream gravy was great. Our only complaint was the front doors and the large garage doors were open to hear the live music. Their solution was to offer blankets, a nice touch, but it was not enough to knock off the chill in the restaurant.We will look forward to returning to The Rustic for brunch again.“

“I brought some family from out of town here and everyone loved it. It's a really nice atmosphere all around and feels casual yet modern at the same time. Our service was great, very fast and friendly! Our server came by to refill our coffee and waters quickly. I got the snooze classic which was really delicious. Others in my table got the pork belly with poached egg on an English muffin which was tasty too! We also got a pancake platter which comes with 3 pancakes: pineapple, sweet potato, and blueberry. They were all incredibly unique and rich with flavor. I didn't think I'd like them because I'm not a fan of fancy pancakes with extra stuff on them but it was actually quite delightful. Price-wise dishes are around $13-$25. And they have a drink menu for boozy breakfast drinks but we didn't have any. Next time!“
