I ordered the chicken bacon club with fries and the new exclusive Dark Berry Mountain Dew. My wife had the riblet plate, while my daughter enjoyed the blackened salmon plate. I would like to have given 5 stars across the board, but the table was sticky for an unknown reason, despite watching the young hostess wipe it down. I do not believe it was a cleaning issue, but rather a chemical issue.“

When the Bracken Cafe relocated to Retama Race Track, the Bracken Store & Ice House opened its doors at this address. The new business appealed to people who enjoyed good food (Food truck) expanded dining to outdoors, added a convenient store & live entertainment. What brought me back today at 0100pm was a fund raiser for Earl Rhodes. A BBQ, bake sale, & an auction of very nice donated items. Earl is a friend of LeAn Watson Butler whom I have known from workouts & socials at the old Spectrum gym. It is a good worthy cause. Think anyone going to the ice house, to eat or be entertained would feel very comfortable doing so. Everyone I met from LeAn's group or the store were super friendly & engaging.“

Onion rings were on the thin side, but not greasy so that was good. “My 9 year old son had to use the bathroom, and of course he had to use the stall for poop, but there was another kid in the stall and he was in there an abnormally long time. We stood there for at least 10 min while my son almost poop in his pants , so I took him to a nearby restroom at that point. My question is how can u have so many people in a large restaurant with only 1 stall to do number 2 is ridiculous. my only complaint is that the Se location added an extra Restroom. And this Location has 1 stall for the whole restaurant in the men’s bathroom. Other than that everything else was really good.“
