“My steak is usually perfect when we go here. We checked in at 4:30 on a Saturday night and were seated by 5:15. Our server was attentive. The music was pretty loud, but we could still hear each other. You can pay on a little gadget that's sitting on the table, which was convenient. The prices are pretty reasonable, in my opinion. Here are a few pictures of the menu.Parking: Once an hour, there is somewhere in the restaurant that they do line dancing, so the music becomes unbearably loud while that is going on. I never did figure out where the line dancing was, but once it's over, the music comes down to just simply loud.“

“Top notch service. The staff is very nice and very attentive. The food is great! This is our go to place for special occasions. We just took our out of town visitors here yesterday. They also thoroughly enjoyed it. They wish they had a Chama Gaucha where they live in the northeast.“

“While the food was very good as usual, the service not so much. Our waitress was somewhat inattentive. We had outstanding service in September from our waiter and that's what we were expecting today. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The service did not live up to the price point of the restaurant.“

“Cool place ? We didn't have to wait long to be seated, even as a party of 7 on a busy Saturday night. The food was really good too! The poke nachos were original and so fiery and crisp. “This was our last nights dinner in San Antonio and it was the best. We were seated right away, and our waiter Mark was there promptly. We ordered drinks and my wife's drink wasn't quite right. She usually doesn't say anything and just drinks it. When Mark was on his way past (He had a large group in a private room as well) He stopped and said that drink is not right let me have them fix it. That is the mark of an outstanding waiter. The rest of the meal was delicious as was the bread pudding we split for desert. It was raining and chilly so the Hostess got a van to come down and take us back to the JW. This was our best dining experience of the week. We will be back and highly recommend this restaurant. Ask for Mark. He has been there for 13 years and knows customer service.“

“Absolutely delicious! I had my four month old baby with me without my husband joining a group of friends for a birthday. I asked the server if he could please get my steak cut up for me. He was like absolutely that way I could hold my baby and feed myself without having to use my knife.We will be back!!“

“The Barn Door is an Alamo Heights staple! Everyone that works there is extremely attentive and polite! They are the PROS when it comes to superb service and DELICIOUS steaks! They have an excellent bar selection and are known as a TOP restaurant for large get-togethers or FAMILY celebrations! Each dining room has a theme that speaks to VETERANS, ‘09er’s, and SAN ANTONIANS alike! I would say, that’s it’s just like winning the TRIPLE CROWN when it comes to Service, Food, & Atmosphere! I personally recommend the Chicken Fried Ribeye with a Loaded Baked Potato & Cheesecake for desert! P.S. the “Fool Proof” daiquiri will allow you to relax after a hard day at work!!“

“I had a ribeye and it was salty and a little overcooked; loaded potato was not loaded at all however we did speak to the manager Kayla and she re-did my baked potato was very professional and friendly. The Loghotn Steak was absolutely fabulous! The service could be a little better with better organized and knowledgeable waiters. Overall a 4 stars. ** We did pay for our food** Thank you Kayla!“
