Down one star from five years ago. Alfred's underwent a facelift and rebranded at Cocina and Bar. Just a few weeks back their menu had their old burgers menu, and a new Tex Mex menu. Today at lunch I along with a few friends were told the Tex Mex menu may come back which left me an inconsistent after taste. We opted to go down the street to Mandola's to continue supporting local. My boyfriend and I saw this place as were driving so we decided to try it. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted with a friendly staff and homey feel. The restaurant resembles an old timey diner and we loved the decor and lighting. The food was so delicious and severed fairly quick. Great neighborhood bar. I stopped in for a bite to eat and kept it simple. I had a chili cheese dog, fries and a beer! Best dog I've had in a long time! Beers were ice cold and the friendly service rounded out the experience. Great selection of beers and cocktails, and the burgers look fantastic. I'll definitely be back in for one... I recommend you do too!
