This place is a staple in the area. It’s been there for so long and has a lot of loyal customers. The food and options are good but they have definitely increased their prices a lot over the years. Margaritas are good and strong and their salsa is good.
Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options. I did ask for back beans in my taco instead but the waiters are pressured by management not to make substitutions. Please make the menu more accessible to vegetarians!

El Palenque has great Mexican food. Light crowd on a Tuesday evening. Friendly and helpful wait staff, clean dining area and tables, warm chips and tasty salsa.
