Chips were good, salsas were great! The cold salsa (on L in pic) was bright and refreshing, the warm salsa (on the R in pic) was more mellow, but so very good! Ordered the Guanajuato lunch special… beef enchilada was excellent, very well seasoned, the beef taco and cheese enchilada were very good. Very good margarita! Will definitely be back!
We have driven by Juanita’s a zillion times. Saw a ton of cars there last week, so I told my hubby we just HAVE to finally check them out!We went in for lunch on a Sunday so, needless to say, it was very quiet.We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The atmosphere is your typical TexMex restaurant style. I like that we could watch the Texans game during our lunch.We both ordered small frozen margs and one large queso with ground beef to share.The queso was pretty good....read full review

Well I never thought I would one day find some of the best nachos I’ve ever had in Houston! Juanita’s Mexican Kitchen has some of the best salsa and chips….so I knew the food would not disappoint….and I was right.I just happened to find Juanita’s…but I am so glad I did. Next time you’re in the mood for some tasty Mexican/Tex-Mex….come on down Louretta Rd…and you’ll be glad you did. And the service was just a great introduction to the amazing food.
