The food was good. The service was timely. The table was clean, but it was hard to read the menu. The menus were so old that some of it was scratched off, and there were typos on it. It was a quaint building, and the food was good.
Delicious, and creative cuisine and Reuven's amazing service combined to give us a wonderful lunch experience. these folks really go above and beyond. This is our only choice for Mexican in Louisville.

I figured it had been about 5 years since I ate here, and based on the date of my last review, it was! Time for an update, and I'm happy to report that La Cocina de Mama is still a solid restaurant choice. We dropped in for an early dinner without a reservation, and we were pleased to be able to be seated immediately. Our server quickly took drink orders and delivered them back to the table.
