This is the perfect “hole-in-the-wall”, “bang-for-your-buck”, the quality ingredients and sublime technique that Toda-san employs, with every dish he lays hands on, are an essential experience here in Houston, if not the entire state and possibly the country. We, two families with a son and a daughter, enjoyed authentic Japanese foods, sushi, sashimi, and other appetizers. The price is reasonable compared to others, considering the quality of the food. Master chef Toda cooked excellent sushi and sashimi we never experienced before. The restaurant entrance looked old and humble, but there were genuinely tasteful Japanese foods. It seems like a hidden treasure island to me! We will come back again.
