“This place is amazing dine in, take out, or delivered! Everything we’ve tried have been amazing definitely taste like it is made fresh like the owner says! We order the pani puri mostly because pani puri is probably my favorite thing to eat, but this place makes it an addiction for me. Because it gets delivered so often, my dogs need some too while I pig out on pani puri. Obviously it’s not dog friendly so I take the shell and stuff it with yogurt and meat so the dogs could enjoy some and leave me alone for a bit. Delivery orders often come with extra snacks and hand written note, which to me is the sweetest thing a business could do in this digital age. This place has saved us so much time going to Hillcroft area and although hillcroft area restaurants would be “more authentic”, I actually like the flavor here better! I agree with other people that the wait time could be on the longer side but hey…if the food is good and the staffs are nice, don’t let a little wait time ruin your mood! We cannot wait to finish trying everything on their menu and eat more pani puri next time!“
“This has been my go-to Indian restaurant for almost 5 years now. I’ve gotten catering and regular takeout from here and the service and quality of the food is top tier. I’ve even introduced Indian food to people in my life through this restaurant.“
“Overall Rating: 4/5 Location: 3.5/5 Taste/Variety: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: Outdoor with limited seating Value for Money: 4/5 Portion Size: Adequate Style: Semi-Casual The Himalayan Food Truck offers a delightful foray into Nepalese cuisine, serving up dishes that pack a flavorful punch, such as the spicy and delicious chilli chicken Mo-mo. The variety and taste of the food are impressive, Service is friendly and efficient, reflecting the warm hospitality of the owners who go the extra mile by offering complimentary Himalayan tea/chai, adding a unique and appreciated touch to the dining experience. While the outdoor ambiance is basic and scores lower, it's a small trade-off for the quality of food and service provided. If you're in search of a semi-casual eating adventure that's both affordable and authentic, this food truck is definitely worth a visit.“
“Tried their well known. mutton Biriyani . Succulent pieces of baby goat in aromatic rice reminded me of authentic old Hyderabad Biryani ! One common mistake people make with Indian food is to equate spice and taste with heat . That is never the case and this place nails it. Great chicken 65 which the kids enjoyed as they made it mild to order !!“
“A Houston GemTurmeric in Houston has become my top pick for dining, thanks to its exceptional dishes and welcoming atmosphere. Their mutton pulao, a weekend special, is a standout, complemented by equally delicious Afghani and Delhiwali chicken curries. Don't miss out on their refreshing mango lassi to complement your meal perfectly. With a cozy ambiance earning 4.5/5 and friendly service at a perfect 5/5, I rate this restaurant a solid 4/5 overall. A must-visit for anyone craving memorable flavors and hospitality in Houston.“
“I ordered this on Door Dash so I can't attest to service or atmosphere but the food was absolutely delicious! The chicken was incredibly tender in both chicken dishes we ordered. The onion Naan was packed with onions and the garlic naan had a great garlic flavor. I was excited to see a baby mild option, perfect for people like me. I absolutely loved this place! 10/10 recommend!!!“
“My family and I last ate here around 7 months ago. The food and service/atmosphere was way below average… Decided to give it another try and it did NOT disappoint! the food was improved and the outstanding service from the new waiter Jr was such a pleasant experience. He went above and beyond and we will surely be back next week!! HotBits redeemed themselves for sure!“
“Great boneless chicken biryani with lots of masala because I asked for a chatpati masala spicy biryani. The chicken is so flavorful, marinated separately. All white meat like breast pieces not those bone meat without the bone. Great portion too.“
“It was delicious. Divine. Heavenly. Exactly like I remember it with the same owners as well. Food is off the charts, chicken tikka masala was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of meat as you can see. The portions are generous, and the rice is tasty and flavourful. Somehow even the water is good?? Mango is a great drink to try here too. I went here years ago and the food is consistent.“
“I have never dined in, so I can't speak for the atmosphere, but whenever I pick up my food the place is immaculately clean. Excellent food, best byriani I've found in Katy, and I have had a LOT. Definitely in my top three places to order from!“
“Actually the smell is what brought us here. Ended up in Katy for something unrelated and was looking for something good in the area. We were heading to someone else and got a delicious whiff of indian food and had to turn around on the spot. The food was amazing, as was the service. They had different movies playing on every wall so there was no want for entertainment. Overall we have been looking for reasons to go through Katy again to be able to come to this biriyani house again. Hands down the best indian food I've had in Texas.Parking: Parking was not an issue. Also the lot is free, which is a plus.“
“We ordered food for Holi event at our community complex. The food was scrumptious and appreciated by everyone . The quantity was perfect, in fact we had leftovers which was packed happily by everyone for their home. We ordered thandai, puris, Punjabi chana, veg pulao (loved by everyone), dahi vadas (super scrumptious) and gulab jamuns.“
