“So I saw this place on my way to Chick-fil-A and made a detour. I'm glad that I did. I just had wings and fried okra. Everything was hot and fresh. The okra wasn't really seasoned but not a deal breaker for me personally. I enjoyed the table service. That's a nice touch. If you want a tad bit elevated fast food experience this is the place.“
“Came here this past weekend for my 6 year anniversary. We wanted to make sure the place we chose was going to have guaranteed great service so we had to stick with a Pappas restaurant! This was our first time at Delta Blues and we had such an unforgettable experience! Our server Chris was extremely attentive and made the best suggestions! He suggested the wings or the pork belly bites as an appetizer, so we went with the pork belly. The cherry cola glaze along with the crispy pork belly bites was a perfect start to get our pallets going. We also accompanied it with the frozen whisky smash and the smokin ace for our cocktails. The frozen smash was perfectly balanced and the mint was really coming through but not overwhelming. Smokin Ace did throw us off because we missed the wine ingredient that was listed on the description but to our surprise it was so smooth, sweet and well rounded. My favorite thing about the drink was the smoked cinnamon wood chips they use to infuse the glass. The smell lingered the whole time, I could not stop indulging in it. Chris made it easy for my husband to decide on how he should have his ribeye and man was he right. The simplicity of the salt and pepper for the steak here was outstanding. It was crispy on the outside and mouth melting. The steak didn’t need anything more! My chicken fried chicken was juicy and exactly what I was hoping for. I love that they have sweet carrots but the star of all sides is in fact the mac. The Mac n cheese is salted just right, so right and creamy that we ordered a second one! Out of all the Pappas restaurants, Delta Blues is our new favorite. We will be back and ask for Chris and try more of his personal favorite suggestions!“
“You can just go ahead and ignore any reviews that aren't 5 stars, made by people that frequent ChickFilA. If you want real home cooked flavourful food, stop by. Worth the price and the wait. The building could use an upgrade, but if you want an authentic NOLA feel, I guess it fits. Easily 10/10“

“We've been wanting to try this place out since moving to the area and driving by 1000 times. I was driving home from work very late one night and their kitchen was surprisingly open late! Called in a to-go order, everything was super easy and ready quickly. Food was 10/10 and we will definitely be coming back.“
“Tried this place on a whim and now we visit regularly. Introduced it to my coworkers and now we eat here once a week. Chicken is always hot from the fryer, juicy and delicious. My husband braves the hottest and I stop hating hot. Restaurant is clean and staff are nice. Doesn't hurt they are from Tennessee like me. ?“

They had two on the left, none on the right side and in the front by the door four to go parking spots for food.. it’s unfortunate. I don’t like to write something negative but this is not acceptable.“
“Went here with my family this past weekend. I had a great time and the service was amazing. I got the country fried chicken with a baked potato and fried rice. The only problem I had was the fried rice. It was extremely salty. Everything else was delicious though.“
“One of our favorite places for date night! Do not recommend big family gatherings because of the wait time. The spinach dip and complimentary honey butter croissants are our favorite. “The place is very nice, the terrace is over the sea and you can feel the waves. It has a beatiful sight. The service was not very good at first, since they left us waiting without taking the order for quite some time, but the guy who served us was great, very friendly and fast. The food is very good and the dishes are quite large, you can even share. It's always nice to live the Forrest Gump experience.If I would return.“
“The service was pretty good. However, I didn’t realize until after we left that the first Long Island iced tea that was watered down was not removed from the ticket. Paid for 2 and received 1. Ugg. “It was my first time here while visiting Houston and I was so impressed!!! I ordered the fire in the hole burger, it was extremely delicious!!! The food is never frozen and the taste shows that to be true. The ingredients definitely consist of Love which is always a necessary ingredient. The atmosphere has a very homey feel to it. It is family owned and I can tell they have passion in their kitchen. Thank you so much for having me and for the outstanding experience!!!“
