“Im so glad we tried this place. 10/10. We tried the fish, fried wings, Mac and cheese, fried okra, yams and mashed potatoes and we had the most amazing fried pound cake with ice cream. Everything was on point, I enjoyed the music and the ambience felt like I was at home in our kitchen. We’ll definitely visit again soon.“
“It was meant to be we were trying to go to a different one originally and they were closed and we wanted soul food. So I googled again and found this place. And I am so glad we did. My husband got the oxtails. I got the fish it was delicious the fish was fresh. It was juicy. I wish they had fried okra, but the mac & cheese was good and so are the green beans. I almost forgot the little cornbread was delicious. We got ours to go. But even the atmosphere inside was nice. Definitely not trying to make this a race thing but I’ve been to soul food places and they look at me differently because I’m white and my husbands black but everybody in here was super nice and we didn’t get any side eyes. So if you wanna be treated like a human and get some damn good food, this is where you need to go 10/10 recommend.“
“Love the fishing peir and the food at Jimmy's is ?. It is absolutely delicious, and not just the food but the drinks as well. The hurricane is my go-to mix drink. We've been coming to Jimmy's for over a year now and still hasn't gotten old. I suggest the fish of the day, especially the flounder. Even when we don't eat, I'll go take a break from fishing to a drink with a beautiful view.Vegetarian options: They offer a black bean burger ? that is delicious.Kid-friendliness: Jimmy's offers a well-rounded kids menu for just $9. “The food was on point. The staff here are with no doubt one of the best. We love going to new restaurants and this one definitely makes a big difference. “One of the few places I can go now to get a good piece of fish for not too big of a price. The buffet is great for anyone who's hungry, but there are also a lot of options for someone who'd rather skip the buffet. The staff has always been good to me.“
