“Highly recommend this place! We tried it for the first time last night. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity for we received. We had the leftovers for dinner tonight, and reheated was STILL amazing! You may have to wait, but they make their food by hand, and it's worth every, single, minute! Hands down DELICIOUS flavors! Try this place. We are hooked.”

“Very nice establishment. The owners were very friendly, I came in to do a closing, and they were friendly enough to let me try a pizza! My lucky day. Very good flavor, thin crust, friendly, great customer service. They opened in about 2020, if you have a chance and you’re in the LaVernia area, definitely give them a try!”

“Very cute, cozy place. I love the layout. Outside was great for a gorgeous day for the wedding we attended. Perfect size & setup for a medium sized wedding. Stage for a band or DJ. Separate serving area & bar. Inside and/or outside ceremony & reception option. I love this place for a wedding.”

“This was our first time at Baldy’s La Vernia and we will be back. Sherry, our waitress, made it an excellent visit. She was kind, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent! I had the special, flat iron steak, salad, baked potato and chocolate cake, it was fantastic-a juicy, tender steak!”

“It's a drive through snack stop, with limited parking to wait for your order.Plenty of alcoholic beverages even frozen margaritas. But plenty of gas station snacks and candies.But we got the cheese pizza, and it was surprisingly good. Not gummy how frozen pizzas are, so I'm assuming it was prepared fresh.”

“Service was great…. Becky was very nice. Chef salads were freshly made (grilled chicken and chicken strips on the other) big salads. Chicken fried steak with coleslaw was very tasty and ordered a cheese Burger with fries to go. We will return to this restaurant.

“The people that work here are so nice and always seem like they’re in a good mood even when it’s pretty busy. The girls that work the drive thru always write positive notes on the receipt like “Have a blessed day” and it is just the sweetest thing. I don’t care for fast food but when I am craving something or need food in a hurry I always choose the Taco Bell because I know atleast the service is gonna be a good experience and the people cheer me up just seeing them in a good mood.
