Restaurantji's McGregor recommendations for the finest Mexican cuisine.
“This is my favorite breakfast burrito place in the Waco area. I haven't been here in a little while. A month ago I decided to try them again. Unfortunately they didn't have homemade tortillas anymore and you could definitely taste the difference. I was driving by, and noticed they had a "Homemade Tortillas are Back" sign. They are definitely back and tasted like they used to. I always recommend this place and will continue to now that they have homemade tortillas. I like their #24 Chicarones, Rice & Beans & their #16 Bacon, Egg, Cheese & Potatoes with their green salsa. Their prices are higher but worth it!“
“This cute, little rock house with yellow trim is a happy sight. It's drive thru only. Credit cards are accepted. Nice couple operating the restaurant. Limited menu but tasty. I ordered breakfast burritos and they were a good portion and flavorful. Their salsas were a nice accompaniment to the burritos but would have been tasty without. I ordered at the window and then pulled off in to the parking lot to wait for my order. The gentleman walked my order out to my car, thanked me, and told me to have a good day. Friendly service. Good food. I'd be a regular if I lived in McGregor, TX.“
“Great food & service, especially for a smaller town. Stopped in during a family trip through the area and was impressed. Definitely better than several city places we've been to. No complaints, and even made up for the underwhelming experience we had at a seemingly more authentic place in Santa Fe earlier in our trip!“
