Elizabeth was our friendly waitress. The parking lot was so full, we almost left. Plenty of room to eat inside. I ordered the grilled chicken n shrimp. They were very small n shrimp was a little too lemon peppery. Mac n cheese was good, green beans OK. My husband had the sirloin n it was seasoned well. The tea was delicious, but I think it just didn't set well in our stomachs. We love Blake's, but will try something new next time. We have visited Blake’s Cafe in McQueeney a few times now, and it’s been good every time. I’ve had the Chicken Fried Steak a couple of times and my wife got the Hamburger Steak.Chicken Fried Steak Plate 8/10 - probably on my top 5 all time CFS.
