“My parents and I visited Aga’s restaurant and were amazed at not only the quality of food but also the service. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment! Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter were very nice. Our waiter Khatija was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Great atmosphere with really nice people. The floor manager took his time to welcome my family and made it his main priority to adjust everything to our liking. Especially nowadays with COVID-19, it’s hard to find a clean but comfortable restaurant environment I felt like my family was number 1. Also, it felt like I was over at family or friends. So I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr.Sufiayn, Mr.Shawqat, and Ms.Khatija from the bottom of my heart.“

“I've been rxcited to try this place and it didn't disappoint! We came on a Friday around 11:30am and the staff was helpful and kind. My son can't have dairy and they ensured he was able to eat safely. I had the Hum-Tum with roti and oh my! So yummy with excellent flavors and the perfect level of spice for me (mild). My husband had the Surti Gotalo with roti and he wiped the plate clean.“

“Great chicken tikka masala with naan and rice. Very much what I was expecting - enjoyed it! Also a good chicken wrap - I forgot the name as my wife ordered it - but again sort of the Indian homestyle or buffet type that has a lot of wonderful flavors. Will definitely return, thank you!“

“Without a doubt, this is the absolute best Indian restaurant I've ever experienced outside of India. As a true food lover who has explored Indian restaurants in all major US cities, I can confidently say that this menu is filled with unique and exciting dishes that go beyond the usual offerings. What's even more impressive is that everything is vegetarian! Our delightful host, Dhiraj, provided excellent recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. I am eagerly looking forward to my next trip to Houston, just so I can return to this exceptional restaurant.“

“Friendly service from the young lady. The pani puri was on the stale side, but the flavor was good. The veg biryani was spicy (we ordered medium), but good flavors, though a bit salty for my taste. We were given free dessert to offset the spiciness of the biryani. Overall a good place for Indian food, but the service won me over.“

“I was thrilled to see a food truck catering to those with a vegetarian based diet. I absolutely love Indian vegetarian dishes and I was happy to see new dishes (to me) on the menu that I haven't eaten before.I ordered the Sev Khamni, which is a savory street food snack from Surat, in Gujarat state in India. I'm no expert and this was the first time I've eaten it but from a taste standpoint, I'd say it's at least a 4 or 5 out of 5. It was very good!I also ordered the Dahi Puri, which if I'm not mistaken is a street food from Mumbai. Wow! I loved this food. There were so many unexpected flavors and textures in this dish. It was sweet, tangy and spicy at the same time. The crispness was a surprise to me. I ordered to go because it was about to start raining. After doing some research at home, I saw that it would have been better to eat them as soon as they were made, so I will need to return on a more pleasant day and eat them there. They still tasted amazing to me after the trip home. The service was fast and friendly. They were also very helpful answering my questions. I would have ordered more but I had already ordered from another food truck as well.I will be back to enjoy some more of this amazing Indian vegetarian street food!“

“This place is amazing dine in, take out, or delivered! Everything we’ve tried have been amazing definitely taste like it is made fresh like the owner says! We order the pani puri mostly because pani puri is probably my favorite thing to eat, but this place makes it an addiction for me. Because it gets delivered so often, my dogs need some too while I pig out on pani puri. Obviously it’s not dog friendly so I take the shell and stuff it with yogurt and meat so the dogs could enjoy some and leave me alone for a bit. Delivery orders often come with extra snacks and hand written note, which to me is the sweetest thing a business could do in this digital age. This place has saved us so much time going to Hillcroft area and although hillcroft area restaurants would be “more authentic”, I actually like the flavor here better! I agree with other people that the wait time could be on the longer side but hey…if the food is good and the staffs are nice, don’t let a little wait time ruin your mood! We cannot wait to finish trying everything on their menu and eat more pani puri next time!“

“I was craving Indian and so happy to find a place in the neighborhood. When you first walk in it's not much and small with only 2 tables for dining. Customer service was top notch. The owner took the time to explain the difference between dishes and other questions we had. We ordered veggie samosa, garlic naan, butter chicken and chicken curry. The wait was not long and I could definitely hear the owner in the back cooking. The food came in Togo containers and the owner provided plates for us. The butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, not spicy (I ordered medium spicy). The dishes came with 1 cup of fluffy rice on the side. The garlic naan was large and cut into pieces for us to share. It was crispy and great for dipping. The samosas were large (the size of my palm) and filled with plenty of potatoes and spices. Crispy and hot out of the fryer. Steam was still coming out of the potatoes when we broke them open. I will definitely be back to order a pizza. We forgot to take pictures because everything looked so good and we were distracted talking to the owner.“
“This is one of the best kept secret snack place in Houston if you are wanting to taste Indian snacks such as Banana chips, plantain chips, tapioca chips, maida flour chips, sweet rice flour chips & many more…I always pickup few extra whenever I visit Stafford, TX. Snacks are freshly made & kept fresh. If you open a pack make sure you have it stored in air tight container for crispiness & long lasting taste“

“The food was great. Manager spoke to us and he was wonderful any questions we had he was happy to assist. The server didn’t really want to assist did care to explain food items and quick to cut us off. Was nice as long as we didn’t ask questions on the food.“
“This is in response to an ignorant man who wrote the following:abu....something.1. Why have escalators that don't escalate? Just put stairs if yall don't want to fix them.- Then use the stairs lazy bone.2. There was a horrible odor that was unbearable walking up the metal spike stairs.- take your mask with you next time.3. It was 11:30 am on a Wednesday half of the shops where closed.- who goes shopping at 11:30 am? get a job!!4. The places that were open had a terrible attitude when you walked in.- you get what you give. Karma!!5. From the street, this place looks amazing, but it's all makeup when you get close enough. You see the real image.- You need glasses, get an eye exam.I don't know what is wrong with people. You have a goldmine in one of Houstons prime locations. Give it its due right.-Let me tell you what is wrong with people like YOU is you have no job, a lot of time, to troll someone's bread and butter like this. Shame on you!!.I am a customer here too but I see this often that Indian people defaming Indian businesses. What kind of people do that?If you have bought something or spent $$ there and then they did not give you something that you hoped for, you can write that, but because you did not like the esthetics, or the odor, or escalator not working. Shame!.“

“We ordered per our server (Ghazala) recommendations Goat Karahi and Malai chicken with regular Naan. Goat Karahi was a bomb (just little salty “ maybe my fault of not used to too much salt” so no blame on them). Malai chicken was an average hut need to focus on quantity based on price which I think was less. But Goat karahi serving was well justified and good enough for two people. Naans were fresh and tasty. Our server (Ghazala) recommended us to try garlic naan which was out busting (yummy). Definitely going back again to try out other dishes as we were already stuffed with good food.“
“The best Indian ethnic store available in the city. It's so clean, well arranged and managed by courteous and helpful staff. You get almost every ethnic items which gives nostalgic feeling. They also have a well equipped kitchen for take out and party orders as well. The butcherry is arranged professioally. Collection of fresh produces is amazing.“

“The best masala chai I have ever had outside of my own kitchen. I mean...insanely good. The chai was like $3-$4, rightfully so! The chai in the east coast is usually $2 which is exactly what you pay for. I'd pay $5 for this chai - it deserves the same price as a latte from any coffee shop.“

“Real good spot for some halal dining. Whenever I come here it's for the beef bihari kebab. It's probably the best tasting out of anywhere I've ever had. “I've been craving butter chicken for the past two months. I've been meaning to make my way to this place. Me and my partner made it our business to visit this weekend. I didn't recall seeing it was take out only, which caught me off guard a bit considering we were trying to dine in. I was skeptical about the experience at first and later was VERY pleased! We both ordered butter chicken with a side order of Naan. We didn't even leave the parking lot because we just had to see if the food matched the hype of the reviews. To say the least butter chicken with the rice was amazing and the naan bread just elevated the dish all together! We enjoyed every bit. They give large quantities of butter chicken and rice with more than enough to eat later. Solid 9 out of 10! We will be back!“

“The food was perfect. The facility was marginal at best. We had some sag paneer (absolutely great, the cheese cubes were so light), and vegetable brianni (warm spice wise and the vegetables in it were perfect), butter chicken (hot spice wise), and my daughter had some vegetarian dish that she loves.“

“A hidden gem in an unassuming small strip mall. Do not be fooled. We thoroughly enjoyed the samosa chaat, chutney, Chicken lollipops, and butter chicken. “Excellent South Indian food! My family is South Indian and Kumar's is very authentic and traditional with good portion sizes and pricing. They also have several North Indian dishes as well. We tried the Nandu lollipops and mutton perattal as appetizers and mutton kolambu for our entree. Food came out fairly quickly and piping hot. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very attentive. The seating area is large, ambiance is a bit dark but the vibe is family friendly and welcoming. Not only does the food come out quickly, it is hot, fresh, and most importantly, delicious. Their menu indicates that they are proud of the sourcing of their ingredients and it shows in the quality of the dishes. Other highlights: BYOB Weekend all-you-can-eat veg & nonveg thalis Several specials including soups and biryani Lots of refreshing beverages“

“The food here was amazing, if you’re ever thinking of getting Indian vegetarian food I recommend this place. One of our favorites are the meals that you can get with rice, side, a sweet, and the rice of a day. I got the ghee dosa and it was amazing, it was light and crispy and had an equal amount sides for the dosa. Their mango lassi’s were also really good, they were sweet, creamy, and thick the perfect combination for an amazing mango lassi.Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegetarian so each option wouldn’t contain any meat.“

“how do I even start? the second this food touched my mouth, I let out an audible moan, one the sorts of which I may be on a list. I got disgusting looks from the people around me in the restaurant, but I did not care, for in that moment, it twas only I and the Mirchi Mirch. The warm embrace of the chicken upon my buds (taste of course) left me reminiscent of the moments warm by the fire with my family, before the divorce of course. Would recommend 10/10“

“Had take out of Chicken biryani, Mirapakodi, Gobi Manchurian and paneer biryani. Can say one of the good biryanis to try in Houston. South Indian friendly tastes. Gobi Manchurian was also good, saucy and chewy. Mirapakodi has new taste similar to chicken Pakodi (but drowning oil). Chicken biryani was also good compared to other Indian restaurants.Have to try other dishes sometime. But definitely would order biryani once more.“

“We hosted a party for 75 people recently in March 2024. The staff, especially Dave, were helpful in planning the menu and listened attentively providing substitutions and input for providing over 12 items from appetizers to main courses and desserts. Vaishali and another young man both went above the expectation by helping to set up and arrange for a safari theme. Natalie brought and provided supplies that we had forgotten or not thought to bring. We are grateful to them for their assistance and all guests remarked that the food was delicious and were able to have multiple helpings as staff were attentive, courteous and efficient. We hope that they continue to grow their business as they are vested in providing their diners a fulfilling, happy dining experience both through the service provided and cuisine served.“
