“So im driving down the street an the radio station mentioned this as a black local business my fav so I pull up almost couldn't find the place because it's inside a gas station but baby when I tell you the meat was tender and the sauce was on point with the potatoes salad swear I sat in the parking lot for tens minutes trying to stop eating great place hats off to the person that smoked that meat it definitely tasted like my grandma's kitchen definitely a great eat I'll be back“
“Went to Slabs to kill some time and try out a place I'd never been before. Saw reviews and got curious! The service is the best around, probably one of the best customer service experiences I've had ever. As said before, went to kill time so that I could wait out a bit of my commute. However, didn't know there was nowhere to dine inside! Being 100+ degrees outside, I did not want to have to wait out my commute in my car. Asked the guys working if they knew of any parks or seating where I could eat, and they offered me a chair! Honestly good vibes while I was sitting and eating. One of the guys working offered me water with my food (got a half rack of ribs, delicious! Soaked in a bunch of delicious BBQ sauce! Very tender, flavorful), and when I showed him that I'd brought my own water bottle offered to put some ice in it. Very, very thoughtful. Hands down, amazing food, chill atmosphere, and EXCELLENT customer service. I will be coming again even though it's a bit out of my normal way. Thank you Slabs BBQ for a great experience and dinner!!“
“I really like the nice feel of a family owned business I found them on google maps a mom and daughter own it and they had the granddaughter at the cash register she was friendly and I got a pickle from her? I prefer the catfish it was good and the fried okra also they have regular tartar sauce and spicy as well I will be back. They serve soul food plates on Sundays!“
“I love texas roadhouse. The rolls and butter are the best. Our waitress was very personable and joked with us. Our steaks came out perfect. The place was very busy for a Wednesday night, but got right in with no wait time.Kid-friendliness: My grandson is a little messy, only 2 years old. Nothing was said at the mess in the floor. It was nice“
“Great barbecue. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu I really enjoy the smoked chicken pulled pork sandwich. The brisket is always juicy and Delicious although I still don't get it because I just like the pulled pork or chicken more. But that's just me. My family prefers this location the one in Mesquite although all of them are great.Wheelchair accessibility: Two handicap parking spots in the front large bathroom stall with raised toilet. The doors do not automatically open. The serving line could be challenging for a large wheelchair. Staff is very attentive and I'm sure could overcome any obstacles. Or be willing to help with any accommodations. But that's just my opinion.“
“Brisket and pulled pork was very moist and tender. I had a Caesar salad. The lettuce was fresh and crisp but the croutons were a bit soggy. Probably should put on after serving or put on side bar with condiments and not on top of the lettuce in the serving tray. The baked potato casserole was lukewarm. Would have been better if hot. Otherwise the meal was good and I would go back again.“
“Absolutely FANTASTIC BBQ!! So glad we listened to the Google reviews. Any place that’s been doing BBQ since 1959 has got to be good, and it was. Absolutely flavourful brisket, ham and ribs AND the mac’n cheese and potato side, can’t remember what it’s called but it’s creamy and garlicky..OMG!! Amazing! Thank you for a fantastic meal and your staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this establishment ?“
