“We Ordered 10lbs of Brisket,4lbs of the jalapeno/cheese sausage and 4lbs of regular sausage. it was AMAZING the Brisket fell apart no need of a knife and both Sausages were Great! Also we had a pound left over and I had it Monday for lunch it was still Tender and Amazing! “I wanted to share our recent experience at Mack's BBQ inside Fate Main Grocery in Fate, Texas. I'm Lincoln's mother's boyfriend, and I joined Lincoln for a little adventure today.We had plans for a fishing trip at the HOA main pond and initially went to the grocery store to pick up some hot dogs. To our surprise, they were fresh out of hot dogs. That's when Mack's BBQ came to the rescue.Inside the grocery store, they handed us some high-quality sausages that turned out to be a hit with the fish in the pond. The fish practically leaped out of the water for these sausages!What really warmed our hearts was that Mack's BBQ didn't charge us a dime for those sausages. “There was a hiccup with the ticket not printing in the back and so it took a little longer to get our food, but the wonderful people there took care of us!! The food was fantastic! My boyfriend was raving about the shrimp gumbo!! The BBQ was fantastic!! We had no idea this place was there but will definitely go back!!“

“Who doesn't love Texas Roadhouse? This was our last meal in Texas before we left, and it was a great experience. There's fresh bread rolls that come with the signature cinnamon butter, and you can choose your cut of steak if you choose to. Our server was friendly and attentive, and our food came out fast. Texas Roadhouse has various options for meals, including delicious appetizers like the rattlesnake bites. I ordered the sirloin steak, house salad, and loaded baked potato. “I was one of the first few people to show up after it opened today and asked for some moist brisket. The guy behind the counter said "Man I'm sorry we are out of the moist we only have lean at the moment". I told him it was fine and went to sit down and eat the lean brisket (which was great).About 5 mins later he brought me out an entire portion of moist brisket in addition to the lean he gave me originally . It's a small thing, but you just don't see that type of thing anymore these days. Great job Rockwall location!!!“

“Came here for a date on Wednesday during karaoke night. The atmosphere & vibes were so cool! People were just there to have a good time. The view of the lake was awesome. Food was good! I had the brisket quesadillas...10/10 SO GOOD!!!! Service was lacking initially but progressed through the night. Definitely coming back with friends!“

“Some of the best BBQ I’ve had in Texas. The brisket had a great bark and was moist and delicious. We also loved the burnt ends and the sausage was stellar. We had the beans and Mac & cheese sides which were just ok, but I’m not much of a Mac guy anyway and they were sold out of other sides. I still highly recommend this place and will likely be a regular now.“

“Today, my husband and I wanted to have barbecue. It is a Tuesday. For some reason, two of the bbq joints in and around Rockwall are not open. So, that all worked out to our advantage. We searched in Rowlett and happened upon Lico’s Barbecue. What a delicious, delightful find!!! If you want fork-tender prime brisket, wonderful sides, tasty rolls, friendly and polite staff, go to Lico’s. Wish we could give more stars for the food, it is that YUMMY!!!!!“

“Parking is a little odd in this area-- old carwash with a roundabout kind of space. The food is excellent. Plenty of meat is provided with the baked potato(see picture). We tried the sausage and some chicken. You can't go wrong with either. The macaroni and cheese is to die for - creamy and delicious, definitely homemade tasting. Don't forget to try the sauce! It has a slight kick but really enhances the meat. Potato salad is good, too. It doesn't taste mustard-based, but it is yellowish with a vinegar or pickle flavor. We also tried the stuffed jalapeño. Great flavor with the brisket on it. What can make it even better is if the bacon was crispy and maybe some cream cheese thrown in.“

“Food was really good, if I had to complain about something I'd say the brisket was lacking in flavor but only slightly. They also had a unique tasting bar bq sauce I rather enjoyed. Place was friendly relatively fast. I'd say it's worth a stop for sure.Parking: It's just a small gravel lot, could be challenging with a trailer if busy.“

“The food was pretty good and I was able to get my food very quick. The staff was attentive and nice but one of the guys upfront looked upset when I changed my mind on choosing sides. Overall a pretty good experience and I would recommend the place.“

“I have eaten the BBQ beef sandwich here several times and it’s really consistently good! The sandwich is a good size and as much as I can eat at one setting. I’m also a big fan of their BBQ sauce and their French fries. The last visit there, I tried their pinto beans, which had a nice flavor and a little kick included by the jalepeno’s. Overall, it’s definitely a value for the price and the portions and quality you get…it’s one of my goto’s when I visit Fate once a month!“
