“Update March 2024: I have been talking about this place since coming here last January. My husband always looks at me like I am crazy because I go on and on about how yummy the food is here! So, we arrived in town for the Eclipse on Friday and told our friends (who introduced me to this place) that we needed to come here the next morning....and we did. And of course- this place did not disappoint. We had Janeth as our waitress and she was super sweet, she got our orders all correct and that was super impressive considering that all of us added this and that, removed or changed that and this....and she took each of our orders with a smile. This place....gosh if you have the opportunity to come here...take it! The prices are fabulous for the portion sizes and the food is phenomenal!!!! I of course got my crepes (to go) and enjoyed grits and an altered eggs benedict for breakfast at the restaurant. My husband got his usual corned beef hash and our friends always love the platters with sides of biscuits and gravy. The table was completely overflowing with all the food! And you are going to have a wait on a Saturday morning but it is totally worth it!”

“We stopped here on a whim on our drive from New Orleans back to Oklahoma and we’re so glad that we did. They had one of the best Monte Cristo sandwiches I’ve had in a while. Will definitely find a way to come back and visit again.”

“Off the beaten path and well worth it. My husband and I were thrilled to see an additional Mexican Restaurant pop up in Mount Pleasant. You can never have an over abundance of variety. The salsa that accompanied the chips had a nice mild flavor. I requested something with a bit more spicy "zing" and enjoyed the dish provided. Very tasty. We ordered chicken enchiladas with green sauce and a spicy seafood dish. Both dishes were great. The sauces served with our dishes pushed the flavor over the top. We finished our dining with a peach bread pudding topped with ice cream. Yummy. The service was a bit on the inexperienced side. The waitstaff were pleasant, they answered all of our questions and filled our requests. The restaurant was clean and had ample lighting. We will return to dine here, and recommend this restaurant to our friends.”

“The Barbacoa tacos were to absolutely die for. The queso, really great. The rice and beans, yummyyyyy!! Limes were very juicy! And that lime avocado sauce was it! Just all around amazing! Will definitely want to come back.”

“Such a cute little restaurant nestled off the main road. It’s in an old tire shop. So cool.The food was wonderful. I had the Birria tacos & I’ve never had them taste as good as they did there.”

“Food and service was amazing. The gentleman who served us greeted us as soon as we walked in and was so kind. Had several tables to himself and still managed to provide excellent service. As a picky eater, I am happy to say their food was so yummy! Definitely recommend!!!”

“Not the cashier fault, but she said there's a service charge, like 60 cents for single burger and 80 cents for double, it took me by surprise. Just charge the price on the menu board so you don't have to bug the cashier. All the employees were nice and friendly and food was great.”

“Visit every couple months. Owners are gracious and care about their customers. They strive to make sure you have a good experience. Food is delicious. Buy fries to share as it is always loaded. Peanuts free at the door!”

“It's really good and delicious smoke food, a good price, the ladies that work there are really friendly. I really recommend stopping by. The 2 meat plate is my favorite when I can't decide what to eat from all the delicious food ??”

“We usually eat there and also ordered pupusas to go. My husband loves the barbecue tacos, and my daughter loves de carne asada tacos, and I love the torta, and the pupusas are so good, I really recommend anyone stopping by and try ”

“Terrible food. When we complained, they said," we never had any in 20 years". That's a lie since the couple behind us said they complained last week, but tried it again. It was even worse. We've been there 3 times in 11 years, this will be our last!!! We all left, with no boxes. We paid but they didn't even discount the meals. Worse meals ever.”

“Every week they have a TACO THURSDAY! Me and the guys from work will order 40-50 tacos to go on a regular! We love it !! They have a nice dine -in area and by the registers is a what I would describe as a small "Curios shop" when you can purchase imported items from Mexico ??!! Way cool!!Pics coming soon!!”

“Spectacular all around! It's a wonderful place with great food and friendly staff. The owner was there and was part of the ambience. Not an excessively fancy place but you don't come here for linen tablecloths. My food was top quality. I had a chopped brisket sandwich and it was absolutely delicious and huge! They have a wide variety of options and even have a drive-through. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!”

“Great place to eat and super friendly service. Since we had never been before, they were so patient with my older family members. The grilled chicken was amazingly juicy and flavorful. Green beans and Herschel fries on the side made for a great meal.”
