It obviously got to our table very soon after coming off the griddle. The mushroom gravy had just the right texture (not too thin, not too thick, sticking nicely to the bread crumb crust on the schnitzel), had lots of mushrooms, and was not salty (excessive saltiness being a feature we have sometimes encountered in other Texas German restaurants). The German potato salad was closer to lightly mashed potato consistency than most German potato salads I have had, but had solid body texture and good taste.“
