“Finally got to visit again after several years and it was wonderful to see the taste of the food and friendliness of the staff have not changed a bit, they are both outstanding! We brought our kids and grandkids and they all loved it! Thank you so much for a great experience.“
“I travel in RV and am always searching for a good pie. My Supreme pie from Mattenga's was excellent. The first thing you'll notice is a plethora of fresh toppings. Since I got a supreme, it was loaded with fresh veggies (in addition to peppperoni and sausage). I'm talking lots of veggies and enough red sauce (slightly sweet tang) to make every bite enjoyable. Being from Upstate NY, I tend to prefer NY style thin crust but their crust, while thicker, was semi-firm but light and chewy at the same time. Thanks for a great pie!“
“I’ve had lunch here twice and plan to be a regular. I’ve had both the chicken and mushroom sandwiches, both with the gluten free bread. It’s hard to pull off tasty gluten free bread but they have. The mushroom/ veggie sandwich had just the right amount of portobello without bringing overwhelming. It was a nice balance of veggies with cheese to add a little richness. The chicken pesto sandwich I had on my first visit was equally delicious. I was suspicious of avocado, mayonnaise and pesto but it was wonderful,The kitchen is open do you can see your dish prepared. It’s very clean and the staff is contentious with the preparation. This is now one of my favorites in NB. Look forward to my return,“
“Love this little bakery. I drove from San Antonio because I watched a segment on Texas Eats about 2 Tarts. I was not disappointed. Wonderful selection of pastries I have never seen, but were indescribably delicious. A must-try when in Castroville.“
“I normally just drive the kids for their after practice froyos here. Today, I decided to get some for myself too. Tried the taro, pistachio and cookies and cream flavors with a little sprinkling of pink and yellow boba. Loved all 3 flavors. However, the taro and the cookies n cream were the clear winners for me.and the boba was fun to pop. Service is always friendly. The owner is super sweet and nice. We have never had a bad experience here and the place is always spotless.“
“Went here for lunch while visiting my mom, and loved it! We were looking for fresh, healthy options & lucked out ? Set in a charming area called Gruene Lake Village, this spot really adds to the Hallmark-movie-vibes of the surrounding community. Having grown up in New Braunfels, it’s nice to return and see a few sweet spots like Naturally Cafe ☕️ The staff was amazingly kind & laidback, which is always a plus! Also, the place is loaded with books to grab off the shelves & read while you wait ? Will return.“
“If you are someone who monitors your food intake, or you are looking for some good food made with quality ingredients, this place is a must! From customizing your portion sizes with their protein bowls, juicy burgers, or looking for a good cup of coffee - this place has everything to fit the needs of everyone. I love their Cilantro Lime Thai Bowl and I hope they introduce to the menu again soon!“
“If you are by landa park this is so close and perfect! We were in town & this was so good. The falafel hippie wrap was the perfect since we were heading back home. I’ve had many samosas and this one was just perfection. I love the pictures of Krishna’s pastime. Haribol!“
“This is a great place for a frozen yogurt! You pay by weight so you can choose just the right amount. They have a lot of different flavors and toppings to choose from. You can even get frozen drinks. There is usually not a wait time. I just wish they had regular tables and chairs. Other than that, this place has great frozen treats!“
“Came in for lunch! Sooo goood! We started off with Oysters Rockefeller they had the perfect flavor. My friend had the salmon salad she said the salmon was cooked to perfection. I had the lunch special wedge salad and clam chowder and I loved it!! Our server Garret was great and very attentive!“
