“Shot out to FRANK the chef. I drive a semi truck ?. It's hard to park and eat where you want. They have a small spot for truck parking by the fuel lanes. I was so hungry at 1 AM in the morning. They were almost out of Carne Guisada. Frank got me some fresh from the back. It tasted really good. I was finally full and not falling asleep.It's a good spot to eat late night.”

“We call it our Dairy Queen, everybody calls it their DQ. Odem has about 2500 people and is slowly growing and doesn’t have to many options. Our Dairy Queen is one of the larger DQ’s I’ve been in. It has several areas could be used for small gatherings to a decent size birthday party. I know people who travel 10 miles or more to come to the Odem DQ. And the reason is like everyone says, the food is hot and tasty, service is quick, the treats are sweet and cold and agrees on how clean the restaurant and grounds are.”

“On our way to the Valley and stopped by for lunch. Food was great! Enjoyed my crawfish étouffée, mix veggies. Neice shared the burger with hobo fries with my sister n law, and my brother had some seriously yummy fish tacos! Great staff, owner, Nathan was very gracious. Worth the stop. 5 people ate for $40 from the lunch menu. Unbelievable! Be sure to check it out!”

“I’ve ate at some great BBQ joints all across the great state of Texas stretching from Marathon, Texas (out west) to North Texas, East Texas and as far south as Laredo and all around the Coastal Bend and I’ve got to hand it Butter’s BBQ some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. By far the best Ribs in the state and in my opinion better bbq overall than two of Texas Monthly’s Top 10 off their most recent list. Enjoyed my visit and can’t wait to come back.”

Today I was really craving a fruit smoothie and Yesenia had my order ready so quickly and was very kind! Strawberry banana was so delicious! “**** Editing 6 months later because I haven’t been to town since I moved away.. I was in town visiting for thanksgiving in Rockport and drove all the way over to get my coffee. I think about this coffee almost daily and miss it being part of my daily routine so much. I’m so happy to see the growth of this business and believe they deserve it so much. They remembered me 6 months later which I didn’t expect and made me feel special! Thank you so much for making my day!! My coffee was so everything I waited for and dreamed of.

I moved to this area in November from Austin and I left a very wonderful local coffee shop that had the best customer service there, I was so worried when I moved here I wouldn’t find it. I was so thankful to find love birds. After maybe a few days of coming in every morning they knew my drink and name. They knew my car and most mornings were outside with my drink before I even parked in the curbside spot. As a mommy the curbside came in handy and made my life a million times easier. The customer service was always personal and pleasant. This is a family owned business and you feel it. You can tell they truly care. To me this means a lot to me and put a smile on my face so many times and makes me feel good my money is helping support a local family business versus going to a greedy chain. Now, the coffee is out of this world 100/10 every single cup. The espresso gets u GOING and has such a good nutty flavor it pairs so well with mocha. They have so so so many options and flavor combinations. Everyone who I took here loved it. Im moving away and feel very sad leaving and hoping my new neighborhood will have something half as amazing to fill this void. This will be a must detour everytime we visit the beach and I will truly miss them so much 🥹💗”

“You had some issues tonight. I ordered for pickup and was told to “come on”. Got in line, paid, and was told to park, and they’d bring it out. Text arrived saying it was done. 5....10.....15 minutes later, no food. Went inside and it was sitting there......cold. I don’t like having to reheat shrimp. My last trip was NAILS. Drove up, paid, hot food in my hands, and go!”
