First time to try this place for lunch. I ordered the mapo tofu and the Za jiang Mian noodles (reminded me of Korean black bean noodles). The Mapo Tofu was very good! My two dishes were not lunch optional. My friends had the lunch special jalapeno chicken, Singapore noodles, sesame chicken, and Gen Yao's chicken. Everyone enjoyed their food. I don't mind coming back to try some of their other dishes.
Once upon a time my family and I were considered regulars, when I first had my 2nd child we would come eat here all the time. There was a specific lady (she had a sharp cut bob about shoulder length) she was the only waitress who recognized that my husband was mixed with Vietnamese. She treated us like family at the time my youngest was about 1 years old she would make it difficult for us to eat because she’d be fussy and whiny. The food was excellent. The service was delightful. Specifically the crispy beef is a perfect bite. Texturally it’s phenomenal and the balance of flavors is exceptional. Everything was delicious but the crispy beef alone is worth a trip.
