“Wife and I were visiting Rockport and we decided to try Wild Prawn. We ordered the Stuffed Redfish and Fried Mahi Mahi. Both dishes came out ~35 min later and we were impressed by the quality and taste. For dessert we shared the deconstructed key lime pie, which was excellent. The owner, Chris, was friendly and chatted with us. Overall we enjoyed the food and will definitely come back the next time we are in Rockport.“
“Damn good food and friendly service! I had the Shrimp po' Boy and hush puppies.Shrimp Po boy was loaded with everything. Shrimp was fresh and fried and good oil. You know the oil is good if the fried shrimp comes out a real light tan color... Hush Puppies weren't huge but big enough and they were tasty! I would definitely hit this food truck up again, its right next to Lulu's! Prices were fair and the portion was generous.“
“I stopped in and took photo of menu board. I am challenged at using online. I got phone # and ordered day before needed. I know that is important to do as I was in the industry. The young lady was so helpful. We got 15 PC dinner for Super Bowl gathering. Picked up at 4:30 pm and everything was wonderful. Large pieces of chicken. Great flavor! Wonderful sides. “CM Lanes is probably my favorite place in Aransas Pass. Their food is top-notch, especially their pizza and the burger with the egg on it. They have probably the best Bloody Mary around. If I could make any recommendations, it would be to add more beer taps and a few more craft beer options. With Hook and Ladder gone, AP has a craft beer void. I would love it if CM Lanes were the ones to take advantage of that.“
“Although the food here is good and we like it, we were shocked on our last visit overhearing two veterans talking behind us, and truly enjoying a very deep and intimate conversation about their service…when the owner of this restaurant came to their table and said that they’d been there long enough and they needed to leave to make room for their lunch crowd!
