If you're looking for fresh naked bread, this is your place. Everything is made daily. They also serve fresh sandwiches for lunch. My best part is watching them slice the bread in this antique bread cutting machine. Love this place and would most definitely recommend it.
First time to visit. I've been looking for a quality bread. I bought a loaf of Birdman which had just come out of the oven. Driving home the fantastic aroma almost made me pull ove, pull off a chunk and taste it. Well made it home with loaf intact but soon I was eating thick slices with butter. This is the best bread I have found in San Antonio. It also made marvelous toast.

Trust me when I say this, I know bread. I eat bread like a medieval peasant during the middle ages. No one loves bread more than me. But right here are some of the best sourdoughs I have had. Amazing taste, just sour enough to make your taste buds feel like they are dancing on a cloud. My favorite part is you can feel how fresh the ingredients are in this bread. Don't ever get your bread from anywhere else but here. It's so good.
