This was our first Go-To Restaurant on our first night in town. It did not disappoint. We had to wait a bit, but sitting and watching the people on the River Walk made it an easy wait. The wait was worth it. Mexican food done right. The service was great and I can't say enough about this place. A must for any tourist!
We enjoyed dinner at Casa Rio during our visit to San Antonio! Great views of the river/Riverwalk, good service and delicious food! The place does get very busy during nights and esp weekends. And they don’t take reservations. But they do have an outdoor bar area to grab drinks while you wait for your table. We will be back!

We had out of town guests that wanted to see the Riverwalk. Casa Rio was a GREAT place to stop for Margaritas and guacamole dip.Thumbs up for atmosphere (we sat outside), service and food ?
