“Upon arrival, I was surprised to see that Starbucks had been replaced. It’s definitely been some time since I’ve been in the area I thought.Early Bird wasn’t bad. The staff were quite friendly, informative, and attentive at that. Before I received my latte I was asked to try it - make sure the coffee was not too strong which the latte overall was perfect. We did try their sample for their horchata milk that is made in-house. Quite interesting taste. The aesthetic of the place was nice. Nice in that grabbing a coffee and or stopping by for a very short while will do. Couldn’t see myself studying nor working here as there is too much going on.Will try and be back if I am in the area again.“
“If you're craving great Mediterranean flavors, look no further than Dallah! From their perfectly seasoned grilled kebabs to their fresh and zesty salads, every dish bursts with deliciousness. The ambiance is inviting, the service is excellent, and the portions are generous.Kid-friendliness: Brought my 5 year old. She enjoyed the food too.“
“A convenience store store with Gourmet sandwiches. Nice little spot. Got the Gino's philly cheese steak and the smoke stack. Both are solid options. Smoke stack has a little spice.the sandwiches are made fresh and quick. The service was great. The people are friendly.“
“Atmosphere 5/5: It's my favorite breakfast place in San Antonio! There's a dip down in the road by the highway, and you drive down the road a ways. Gorgeous scenery, there are walking paths and other shops open later.Food 5/5: Lemon blueberry pancakes, then crabby benny and texas benny. Payment by CASH ONLY and it's donation based. $15 recommended + $5 for extra items.Service 5/5: Lovely people, quick service. They even ask your name when you order and remember it.Parking: Lines are thin“
“Bussin!!! The baked chicken and gravy is fire! The yams bussing! The Mac n cheese isn't nasty, but it's kinda mid. It went well with the catfish though, and the catfish is fire too! I was salty they were out of the banana pudding and they only had a few servings left of peach cobbler so I'm pretty sure that means it's good. The kool-aid is banging. Fresh and hot! Made to order! Definitely will be a repeat customer!??✊?“
“One of my FAVORITE outside of the box spots! Great food, very kind people, good bar selection & the whole place in general is nice. Im brisket pickey & I absolutely LOVE it from here. But don’t be disappointed if you get here & they are sold out bcs DAMN everything is THAT good!! Just means you gotta get here earlier ;)“
“This is one of my favorite places to eat. It is hard to find healthy, quality vegan food. Everything on the menu is so delicious and made from scratch. You can’t beat the pricing anywhere for the quality you get. Even my non vegan friends love the food. They are also always so friendly and hospitable too. Highly recommend this place!“
“The frozen yogurt is great and it’s awesome to be able to pick as many flavors and toppings ?Edit: we have gone back a few more times, the staff is very friendly, the flavors they offer are awesome and they have old school game boards at the tables, which makes it a really fun experience. 10/10“
“Always in awe of how Wild Barley has overcome what could be a major intersection nightmare location and made it their own oasis of family friendly environment with insanely patient, professional staff. All in addition to their award winning food and beer that is uncompromising in its quality (not to mention value) when every restaurant on earth has countless excuses to cut corners. Our latest visit was on a Friday afternoon, surrounded by a good contingent of extremely genial regulars plus lil’ regulars and I hope to count ourselves as ones soon.“
“Postino has quickly become one of our favorite spots to come hangout after work. Cindy, Tommy, Matthew and Isaiah are truly the best and make every time we come in amazing. Definitely suggest getting the chicken skewers and the Brie, prosciutto and fig panini. <3“
“Really adorable coffee shop with community focused vibes ?I tried a bunch of different coffee shops on my visit to San Antonio but this one was my favorite! They had three pour over options, and each one was delicious and well made. They also have delicious baked goods from chickpea bakery (vegan). They have non vegan baked goods as well. The baristas are super kind and friendly, and it makes you feel like you are really welcome to hang out for a while. If you decide to enjoy your drink at the cafe, they will serve it in an gorgeous handmade ceramic mug, and they there are a lot of ceramics available for purchase. Can't wait to come back here on my next visit!“
“Had the combo 3 beef enchiladas with alambre taco. Everything was excellent and athey had a good selection of different salsas to try. The dining area is small and the place was busy at lunch time. Ordered to go because there weren’t any tables available.“
“Cappy’s is hands down my favorite restaurant in San Antonio and I make a point to come every time I visit. You can’t go wrong with the mustang chicken and the crispy brussel sprouts are to die for.My young daughter would be upset with me if I didn’t mention her favorite part of the meal— the delicious bread they serve before the meal. Our waitress was kind enough to box up an extra loaf for her to take home when she realized kiddo was adamant about bringing home the last small piece.Make reservations, you need them!“
“You can not ask for a better place to enjoy great food, drink, and friends. A great selection of food trucks with a beverage truck to boot! The tower of margs was fantastic. Check out their Instagram account to see the community events they host on a regular basis. Boxing, music, DJs..... Way cool. San Antonio is lucky to have this gem.Kid-friendliness: A fenced playground for the kids while the parents enjoy a beverage. Also good shaded areas for those sunny days.“
“Oh my gosh! This place is AWESOME!! My husband and I found ourselves driving through San An, and we stumbled upon this lil coffee shop. - MAGIC! We got a flat white, a cold brew, and an ice latte (dealers choice - just for funsies). THEY WERE ALL PHENOMENAL!! The flat white might honestly be the best I’ve ever had, and the other drinks we superb! And we’re big coffee nerds. Like. BIG coffee nerds. You need to see our coffee credentials? The hubs and I both worked (and met at) a specialty coffee shop. Have since traveled the world drinking coffee, visiting coffee farms, and just simply sippin on good brews. All that to say, this coffee spot is the ish! You should definitely go!Thanks, Theory Coffee for being awesome and amazing and wonderful!“
“Really great little place! I got the Cuban sandwich and it was delicious! My white chocolate latte was fantastic too. The staff were very nice! It took a little bit of time but that’s because they make everything to order, it’s a small kitchen and they were busy. It was well worth the wait. I will be going back frequently. Breakfast dishes looked wonderful - next on my list.“
“I dont know how I hadnt heard of this place before! My friend n i went Wednesday n OMG it was delicious! I tasted the Columbian n coconut but instead ordered the acai bowl. Although it was good I should have stuck with the ones I tried. Went back on Saturday. This time o had the coconut, mango n Brazilian and I LOVED IT! My daughter had other flavors n my grandson had the Nutella. We will definitely be recommending this place n going back for sure!!!!“
“Great little place, seems like a family run business. Can't go wrong with Blue Bell ice cream, but also lots of other great treats. My family also likes the cafe cielo, the floats, and the hot cheetos and cheese.Parking: Not a huge lot, but usually easy enough to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids!“
“I can't believe how good this place is. The flavor in their coffee and food items is unmatched. I really haven't seen it nowhere else. I had the Oreo concha, which I was super hesitant, but I was honestly impressed. Also, don't be afraid to try their specialty cappuccinos, they might sound odd, but I promise you will not regret it. Definitely a new favorite here in San Antonio, TX.“
“Really tasty vegan food. Kids had the soy free pancake stack and we enjoyed the carne asada fries and cauliflower wings. Really delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu :)Dietary restrictions: Vegan and allergy friendly (though not many soy free items)“
“A great little stand to get some breakfast. The beignets are not like the ones from New Orleans but good. We were the first ones there because we had a flight to catch. The workers were very friendly. Their bag of beignets were very generous.“
“this place is a hidden spot downtown san antonio; it’s a very quiet, cozy & vibey spot to hangout! i tried their vanilla lattee & earl gray tea they were just okay, nothing special. parking is tricky too as it’s very small, you’ll likely have to park somewhere close by & walk a little.“
“This place is wonderful with excellent service and delicious coffee and empanadas. The menu has a good variety for people who enjoy the taste of just coffee to the people who want a drink to be acquainted with coffee. You can also ask for percent sweetness on drinks which is a cool way to have your flavor but not have it overpower your coffee. Empanadas came out hot and were wonderful! Highly recommend!“
“My family loved our first time here enjoying our lattes and playing pinball! We didn’t know if it would be a good environment for kids, but there were lots of other kids there and a great family environment. The staff were very helpful in answering questions and helping us feel welcomed.Kid-friendliness: There were arcade games and board games for all ages“
“Great spot to relax and grab a drink or a quick bite. Tandem offers coffee, beer as well as sandwiches, sweets and more. Great place to come with your kids and pets as there is plenty of outdoor seating. Service is always great and friendly!“
“I absolutely love this place, it's my go to coffee.. the majority of their drinks also have sugar free or low carb options. They are amazing and rhe staff is great and very helpful especially when u can't decide what u want or helping make a drink low in “
“At first glance outside you might wonder if you are at the right place. Walk in to the most friendly, cozy panderia you've ever been! Love this family business attitude! Right away they ask if you've ever been there before and then walk you thru what they have for the day. Let me tell you.....hard choices and you just might walk out of there with one of everything! We ended up with a bag full of goodies. Very reasonably priced I might add! The concha's were so fresh and moist; not dry at all. Very fresh taste! I'm not a big fan of tres leche but wow! Definitely a fan of theirs! Moist; not too sweet but sweet enough. Very fresh! We walked in not long after they opened to an empty business; then turned around after they finished telling us about everything and there was a line out the door! If you are looking for a great panderia and wonderful service; this is the place to go!“
“good but a little mixed I had the Parma that has garlic sauce versus red sauce. I was expecting the prosciutto to be cooked on the pizza. Basically it was like a bread salad with sliced prosciutto. We didn’t like it. But luckily my nephew had the Copa and added pepperoni and it was very delicious.“
“Found this place through one of the San Antonio restaurant Facebook posts. Surprisingly the chef for the restaurant mentioned it so we looked it up and decided to check it out. The food was great. They advertise clean and fresh ingredients which is even better. We got the pepperoni and fig and Brie pizzata and the kids shared the French toast. They offer a good selection of craft beer and both of the ones we tried were great. We’re craft beer snobs so we know a good beer when we taste it. The outside patio has plenty of room and shade and the inside looked comfortable. The servers were very friendly and definitely had a teamwork approach which was great to see. We’ll definitely be back because there’s so much on this menu that looked amazing. ?“
“Love their happy hour! I always stop by with my parents for a treat. Staff is always helpful and patient in helping my parents find a tea to drink. I would not recommend their coffee, however. 2 out of 2 times I have tried their coffee it has tasted bitter. It's either burned or old. It is called HTeaO for a reason! Stick to their tea and you will be happy!“
“Really good churros fried nicely and not greasy. The many sauce combinations is really a great option to offer the customers! Minis are my favorite :) I would like to see homemade sauces maybe some fruit toppings offered would be a good pairing for later down the road. Overall it was great! They do take credit cards and are so very yummy!! I would recommend it to anyone who likes churros they are great to take home and watch movie“
“Great walk up coffee trailer! Coffee is to the point. Menu is small so it’s easy to get what you need. Food options are limited but tasty. There are a few outdoor tables to sit at but with other vendors here it’s sporty to get a table. One of my fav coffee stops in SAT when I’m in “
“Awesome coffee stop! I ordered a Charlie Brown latte and my husband ordered a regular coffee. Both were perfect. You can tell they used freshly roasted beans. My Charlie Brown was perfectly seasoned and not too sweet like most other coffee shops. Blueberry lemon scone was the bomb! Perfect lemon flavoring and fresh blueberries made it a perfect scone!“
“Great food and service!! Came out for a private work event and everyone loved the food and coffee. Can’t recommend this place enough! They were very responsive and attentive to the large crowd. Thank you so much, Jen! It was a pleasure meeting you and your family!“
“Favorite coffee spot, hands down! Always fast and friendly service. My favorite order is either the hot Avalanche or the frozen Avalanche in the summer. Delicious! Prices are comparable (maybe a bit more reasonable) to other nearby coffee locations. Love the convenience of the drive thru.“
“This is the reason I visit San Antonio. I live for the world’s best Al Pastor, it’s here!! I’ve tried all pastor all over the US, nothing compares. Thank you for your amazing recipe. The strawberry horchata was good. Of course, I will visit each time I’m in San Antonio!!!!“
“Played a show here and had a great time. The Brisket Grilled Cheese was awesome. The beer was ice cold and the stage was perfect for our trio. The crowd enjoyed their evening along side our friends and family. Can't wait to be back there.“
“WOW!! This place is SO good. Their fries are amazing, and burgers/wraps are great too. So glad we tried this place. Nice outdoor seating, very family and kid friendly. Waitresses were very friendly and attentive.Kid-friendliness: Small playground and play area outside for kids.“
“Wow! So glad we stumbled across this place! The owner was so sweet and explained the many ways on how you can make a great drink. You can choose the different citrus, add ons, and how sweet you’d like it. Highly recommend trying the lemon lime and chamoy. They even have games for you to hang out and a free mini library.Parking: Parking across the street“
“Customer service was great. Host was fast to get us seated(party of 2). They only had one bartender so there was a little wait for drinks. Food was okay, would definitely try some thing different next time. The sliders looked great we saw another table order but we were already full. Would try those next possibly.“
“Lori was so hospitable and gave us an amazing experience. She even turned on the outdoor lights so that we could walk around and take pictures after dinner. She recommended an excellent wine and put us on to a new favorite dessert - sticky toffee pudding. This place checks all the boxes and the winery cats were a bonus.“
“Great little spot for awesome drinks! This was our first time here and the bartender was amazing in explaining how they make drinks. We told her what we liked, and she made drinks accordingly.I ordered something like a Paloma and the rest of my group ordered old fashioneds. The drinks were delicious and the service was exceedingly hospitable! Will definitely be returning.“
“I love a good urban winery, and ReRooted210 fits the bill perfectly! Located right next to the Hemisfair parking garage, ReRooted is a little slice of heaven! My daugher in law and I shared a bottle of Riverwalk red wine ( you get a discount on your next bottle if you bring the bottle back for a refill). They do have food, but we didn't order anything since we had just had lunch. Service was friendly and enthusiastic. I am so glad that ReRooted is close to us...saves us a ride to Fredricksburg!“
“I went Friday night w/ my 17 year old niece, my 2 year old daughter & my mom. Fod is great especially the Gorditas! I absolutely LOVED them!! The Atmosphere, not so much. Totally not a family/ kid friendly type of place. It’s located within the same spot of an outside bar. There is no restrooms pretty much unless your 21+ or else your going to need to drive down the street. Besides that, GREAT GORDITAS :)!!“
“We had a large group and were well taken care of. They have a great little patio and a cute interior space. Our group got everything from intricate cocktails to canned beer. There was a small menu but we were there for a nightcap. They close relatively early so plan to make it an early spot.“
“This was SO GOOD!! I was in town for a girls trip and we were looking for a quick breakfast spot in the King William District and Kulture Kafe had lots of great reviews. It's a little difficult to find and really is just a food truck trailer parked in a parking lot but there's plenty of seating and the service was super quick as well! When we arrived, I ordered an horchata matcha latte (I loved all the seasonal drinks and foods they had!). My friend ordered a seasonal coffee drink and we split an order of chilaquiles. My drink was absolutely delicious, I loved the homemade horchata!! The chilaquiles came STUFFED and were so flavorful as well. I loved how tender and juicy the chicken was. Overall, really great spot for a quick and tasty breakfast!! Definitely lives up to the hype!!“
“There’s a lot to love here - from the friendly counter service to the quick cleanup of (outdoor only) tables. Plus, the female pitmaster does an outstanding job with all the fantastic smoked meats. Don’t miss the sides either! I miss the pre-pandemic indoor seating, though.Vegetarian options: I’ve had vegetarians in my parties and they always are happy with the choices of sides.“
“It’s a cute place but today’s dining experience was not ideal. One meal came out a long time after the other. Be aware that Nutella Waffle is heavily slathered with Nutella as well as chocolate syrup (making it unsuitable for breakfast except to those with a significant sweet tooth). Diced ham inside crepe was room temperature and bothered stomach hours later.“
“Drove here from Bandera after reading that it was one of the best place to eat in San Antonio. Normally it is rare for me to actually enjoy chicken. This place was not only worth the drive but made me want and ENJOY eating chicken 2 days in a row. Well worth the drive. Also great price and VERY FRIENDLY staff at Both locations. We will definitely be back. Now to decide which location...btw the hot honey is insanely good. I also think the K Pop is awesome (personally my fav) but be warned it has kimchi on it, for those like my husband who dont like kimchi.“
“This was our first time trying Revolutionary Wings and it was worth the trip. This being our first time, we tried a variety of menu items including the dill pickle wings, black garlic wings, hot Cheetos wings, chicken and Belgium wings and the mild and medium wings. The wings themselves were large and perfectly cooked. The flavors were all very good, the family enjoyed all of them and each of us had a different favorite. We also ordered a southern burger and the margarita flatbread. The flatbread was great, loaded with fresh tomatoes and cheese. Unfortunately the wings were so filling that we had to take the burger home to eat tomorrow - yes, the wings are that big and filling. I would highly recommend giving them a try the next time you are in the mood for some good and creative wings!“
