“"I recently had the pleasure of visiting RJ Food Truck last Sunday, and I am here again already !it was an absolute delight! After a long time, I indulged in some authentic Indian street chaat, and it was worth every bite. The flavors were spot on, reminding me of the bustling streets of India. The chaat options available at RJ Food Truck is impressive, catering to every palate. From classic favorites like bhel puri and pani puri to more offerings, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Not only was the chaat delicious, but the ambiance of the food truck added to the experience. It transported me back to the lively atmosphere of street food vendors in India, with its vibrant colors and aromatic spices. The service at RJ Food Truck was good, with friendly staff members who were eager to assist and make recommendations. Their passion for chaat was evident, and it made the whole dining experience more enjoyable. In terms of pricing, RJ Food Truck offers value for money, considering the quality and quantity of the chaat served. It's definitely a place where you get bang for your buck.Overall, I can't recommend RJ Food Truck enough to all chaat enthusiasts out there. Whether you're craving a taste of home or looking to explore new flavors, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be returning, and I'll be bringing along friends to share in the joy of delicious chaat!"“

“My wife and I visited for lunch today. WOW is all I can say! I had the butter chicken and they asked me if I like it spicy. I said yes. They gave me options and I chose “hot”. It was spicy but not overbearing. You can tell everything is made to order. Keep that in mind if you are short on time. But the wait is worth it! The naan was fantastic…we chose the traditional naan but next time we will venture out and choose a different flavor. I will be back as this place is a hidden gem! Service was great, and this was a fantastic unexpected treat for a neighborhood restaurant. 5/5 jalapeño rating!!!“

“My stepdad wanted to try out this place since it is about two minutes from my house was actually surprised on how good the food was. There is a variety of food on the buffet which me my mom and stepdad opted to do since it was only $15 we didn’t want to risk ordering something from the menu And not liking it but I can say I definitely was not disappointed and definitely recommend someone to give this place a try if they are considering!“

“The quality and taste have drastically improved from the beginning of the food truck. Now there dishes are consistent in taste. Chicken sandwich and samosa chaat are my go to items on the list. I tried them thrice in a span of 2 weeks and they tasted the same. I loved them. The service was quick. Masala sweet corn is good as well.“

“I moved to a rural city almost a year ago and haven't had any Indian food since, so when I visited San Antonio, I had to get my cravings fulfilled. My google search found me here where I had the Chicken Makhani, aka Butter Chicken, white rice with peas, samosa and naan. I ordered take out at 8:45pm on a Thursday, the service was fast and the dining room looked busy. The food was amazingly delicious. Full of flavor and enough to feed me 2 big meals (one that night and my lunch the next day). I will definitely be back every time I visit San Antonio. They did not disappoint.“

“Ruby’s is amazingly good Indian food!!! What a gem!! We had gone for a walk around OP Schnabel Park, and thought we would give Ruby’s a try, and we are so glad we did. Everything was delicious! We made our order to go and everything was well packaged. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were totally reasonable. They are also super friendly and more than happy to help if you have any questions. We will definitely be regulars.Vegetarian options: Indian food is a great option for vegetarians, so much to choose from.“

“It’s hard not to get hungry writing about this, one of my favorite restaurants. As I write, I both recall fondly the many times I’ve come here for the mushroom matar masala, saag paneer, and chicken tikka masala, and look forward to the many times more I’ll return for exactly that and the friendly folks who work here. Please give this a shot!“

“This place is the best Indian food I have had in years. Chicken tikka masala combo was awesome. They had Ambur chicken biryani on the specials menu and I had to try. ?? man that was intense. I got a smoothie from next door to wash it down! It looks like they also started serving Chinese takeout type food recently which also looked pretty tasty and fresh. Prices are very reasonable. $10 per each item I got.“

“YES! YES! YES! Pavani Express is back in San Antonio. For years the dosa scene in San Antonio wasn’t very competitive. Then Pavani comes back and blows anything in town out of the water. This is a no frills South Indian eatery that delivers flavor and value. The samosas I ordered were cooked and seasoned to total perfection, and they give you generous portions of sauces to dip it in. Outside was flakey and inside was soft and flavorful.Dosas are made fresh. Be warned they DO NOT travel well. They are best eaten fresh, as they do get soggy so this is not a To-go dish.Do not sleep on Pavani express and their awkward gas station location. Seriously delicious authentic and hardy. Enjoy!“

“Have a very good lunch before our travel. The food is delicious and staff are very helpful and very friendly. My daughters are very picky on spicy and they too enjoyed a lot. Seems like they are expanding to be a fine dining restaurant and we will definitely visit next time with the new ambience.“

“I’ve been coming here for years now and every time I’ve come the food is amazing! The Chicken Tikka Masala is just to die for. I tend to get multiple servings of it. The samosas are just as good. There’s something for almost everyone and they even have dessert. The people who work here have always been pleasant and attentive. I’ll be back again and again since it’s simply that addictive. If you’re in the area come check it out.“

“Located in a shopping complex, this restaurant boasts easy parking and spacious interiors. We opted for the buffet, which presented a diverse array of dishes, including lamb, chicken tikka, tandoori and curry, alongside a plentiful selection of vegetarian options. The chutney and salad were delightful additions. They make fresh Naan and bring them to table.Dessert offerings included gulab jamun, kheer, and mango custard. While I enjoyed the mango custard and found the kheer satisfactory, the gulab jamun fell short of expectations. They also serve beer and wine.Overall, this Indian buffet impresses with its convenient location, attentive service, and delectable cuisine.“

“Not the same Indian food we had/loved in Japan because it was more curry based over there, but the Indian food here was very good! Naan was great, and rice was good also! The butter chicken curry was very tomato-ey, but still good with naan! The portions were very big, we could have split a butter chicken plate and ordered some extra naan. Service was attentive, and they seemed to be steady busy, wilhich can't be a bad thing.“

“We ate here for the first time and got the samosa as a starter, garlic naan bread, the chicken korma and the chicken curry. All were amazing! The samosa tasted like an authentic home cooked meal from grandma and the sauces it came with were spicy and flavorful. The garlic naan was obviously a hit. I got the chicken korma and the creaminess of the sauce had me almost creaming. My bf got the curry and he loved every bite! The rice that came with was light, flavorful, and paired strongly with the sauces of the meals“
