This needs to be changed to Chicken Mcnuggets.The only complaint is that the fries were aging some. You could tell they had been sitting awhile, and the oil was on the verge of needing to be changed. “I been to this restaurant for years now, to the point that my grandmother used to take me here.This is just a great McDonald's, the food is great (my grandmother's favorite was actually the ice cream cone, as well as mine). And the ambience has always been calm and homey in the morning, and usually a bit busy and noisy on the afternoons because of all the students, then at the evening it's usually all calm again. At least to what I seen.The service is awesome. I do have to apologize because when my grandmother was alive and used to take me to this McDonald's, she used to fight with the manager and the employees A LOT about her coffee and the prices. “My family and I have been to this location since moving to the downtown area since July of 2022 .our experiences here at this l Iocation have not always been good ones but we came in this morning and were greeted and welcomed by a new employee by the name of Jessica. “The customer service was amazing I was tended to very quickly. The girl actually knew what I was talking about when I ordered. I received my order promptly and it was complete. All of my condiments were there and I didn't have to remind them. The food was fresh and everything was hot. My fries were actually full and crispy. My order was nicely bagged too. “With many McDonald's in the area, a long line means ungodly wait time, cold food, and melted ice in your drinks. This location, whether it be due to where it is, who they hire, or whatever the factors may be, is distinguished from it's sister restaurants. I've had large orders take less than 10 minutes to come out and I've only ever seen one car sent to the time out parking spaces, and the staff are always diligent and kind, taking accurate orders. Warm food, great timing, and obviously the affordability of McDonald's, hard to beat!“

“I was going to order coffee and a sausage biscuit the young man at the window Xavier, politely told me that they were on lunch menu already but I could still get coffee. Normally I would have been upset because I have had very bad experiences at other locations. One McD's actually told me they didn't have any coffee because it was night time and they didn't make any coffee at night! Anyhow, when I got to the window to pay Xavier apologized once more and gave me a free cookie to go with the coffe that I paid for. “Everything was good except the person who took my cc, he never gave me a receipt he just simply gave my card back and said "thank you". I like to see what you're charging me for. It took for me to go to the 3rd window (after getting my food and drink at the 2nd window) and basically yell to get a worker's attention who just so happened to be the manager for me to get my receipt.“

“Great management! John helped us with our order and he was exceptional! We were arriving into San Antonio in the evening, but we needed to stop to eat. We stopped at this location off of 410 and Culebra. The two lanes both had long lines. As we approached the window we were greeted kindly and professionally. Store looked clean inside and out. When we drove off to continue our trip we noticed our order was all wrong. We went back and John the lovely young gentleman (Manager) helped us with our order. He was prompt, courteous, kind and very apologetic! He made sure to get our order correct and made sure all food was hot and fresh. The presentation was beautiful just like the pics on the menu. He even carried it all out to us in a big box so that we had a huge drink/food box, especially since he knew we were traveling. I cannot express how impressed we were with his service and with his crew. It was late night, plus super super busy, but he did not hesitate nor acted upset at all. He is very professional and knows how to treat his customers. Now that's excellent customer service! “Aside from having to ask for the soda / ice machine to be unlocked each time we wanted to fill our soda cup, the restroom access was restricted but, required an employee to *buzz us in* to use the facilities our meal was great. Guess they have had issues with the neighborhood or something because I've never been to a location where the ice and sodas were locked remotely. So having to get an employee each time you needed a refill was certainly not worth the time or price when there is a jack n the box or other options within walking distance.“
