OK I was recommended this establishment by my brother-in-law and I’m glad he told me because it was a gem in the rough. everything is mom and Pop about this location. It’s totally stuck in time but the food was amazing. I got a Carnegie Sada with cheese and I also got a picadillo with cheese and beans. Everything was handmade homemade very highly recommend. This place don’t expect the fancy place and high prices expect great food at a reasonable price.
Excellent service, always greeted at the door coming in, smiles from staff, and feels like a family every time my son and I dine in. We both enjoy the homemade flour tortilla tacos, especially the carne guisada, bean and cheese, enchiladas, puffy tacos, down to the coffee. I highly recommend the family and friendly restaurant. Had a whole trip planned frpm austin that was going wrong in every way. Birthday weekend for my daughter and I felt like i failed in making it right. We found this spot and it started to change my horrible morning into something good. The service was amazing chorizo migas...no greasy chorizo and perfectly crispy tortillas for the midas.
