“It's a nice place, but if I drop into a neighborhood (or any) coffee shop on a Sat a.m. I expect a Sat a.m. "coffee atmosphere" - quiet, laid-back. Suddenly in comes a bunch of pre-teens, cackling and shouting. Too many parents make the mistake of assuming that we all want to see and hear their kids: teach them to recognize and respect quiet. Otherwise, as I said, a nice and convenient spot with a good selection for coffee and low-dB conversation.“

“I've been here dozens of times and it's always top notch. The space is open and friendly, bright and cozy. Love the mismatched sofas and chairs and high industrial ceilings. It's great for meetings, working by yourself, or catching up with friends. The drinks are always delicious and high quality crafted by skilled and friendly baristas. The banana bread is reaaaallly good, especially if you ask for it to be warmed. You can also pick up some vegan breakfast tacos from La Plantaqueria on certain days while they last!“

The honee butter chick'n sandwich was so good, however I'd probably would of preferred a flaky biscuit but all in all I give it an 8.5/10!! When in the area I totally recommend whether a herbivore or omni 1000/10 chefs kiss!!“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! “I love Mila coffee! Two locations, but I live near the walk up location. There might be a line but the wait is never long. The service is always friendly and the coffee is reasonably priced and delicious! For reference I paid just over $7 for a 24oz iced Dirty Chai latte with almond milk ($2 tip included) Totally worth it, add this location to your list of coffee spots to visit!“

I got an enchilada with spinach and sundried tomatoes that was recommended by the server and my husband got the skirt steak, which she also recommended. Both were excellent. The drinks also did not disappoint. I had never had a Mexican martini (I'm a vodka dirty martini gal) and it was very, very good. My husband said their top shelf margarita was the best he's had in a long time. We're visiting from out of state and came here on a whim on a Friday night with no reservation and though it was very busy we only waited about a half an hour for an outdoor patio spot.
