“Places like this don’t hardly exist anymore. Simple store that provides excellent food. I have eaten here many times and I always enjoy the food. The portions are perfect. It is nice to have a well sized meal after a long hot day. Me and my wife have ordered many things off the menu and have yet to find something we didn’t like. If you’re looking for REAL Mexican food, this place delivers.“
“Have been here several times & it never disappoints!! If you want authentic Mexican food - this is your place. The plates are generous & flavorful. Their staff is kind & attentive. The atmosphere is cultural and located in historic downtown in Venus, but you feel like you’re in a distant place when you walk through the door. Highly recommend!!“
“Exceptional Service with a friendly, family smile. Welcome to Tio Tony’s. You can find anything here that your little or big heart desires. It starts with a warm greeting, while you are escorted to your chair. Next they bring your drink of choice, I had coffee (plain good old coffee with some sugar and creamer); it was so good. Next I ordered huevous Rancheros con bacon with chips and salsa, and water with ice. It arrived so fast and it was still sooo goood. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Midlothian texas. I ate the food so fast I forgot to take a picture. This is my second time here though. I tried the beef Caldo to go. And Fajita quesadillas. All was amazing ?“
“I had the most amazing experience at Torchy's Tacos in Mansfield, Texas! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and the service was top-notch.Preston, was so friendly. He made sure that I had everything I needed and that my food was cooked to perfection. He even went out of his way to recommend some of his favorite dishes.I started with the Chips and Queso, which were absolutely delicious. The queso was creamy and flavorful, and the chips were perfectly crispy. For my main course, I had the Brushfire and the Vagabond Taco. Both tacos were amazing! The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the fajita beef was tender and juicy.I also had the opportunity to meet some of the other staff members, including Bill, Maggie, Cameron, Whitney, Serena, and Jessica. They were all so friendly and welcoming. They made me feel like I was part of the Torchy's family.I highly recommend Torchy's Tacos in Mansfield, Texas! The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun and lively. You won't be disappointed! In addition to the great food and service, I was also impressed by how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. The tables and chairs were all clean, and the floors were spotless. The bathrooms were also very clean and well-stocked.Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Torchy's Tacos in Mansfield, Texas. I will definitely be back soon!Kid-friendliness: There is a large patio and plenty of space for the children.“
“The atmosphere was such a vibe. Unfortunately the food missed the mark for me. The brisket was chewy and lacked flavor. The ribs were very fatty and was a bit chewy was well. I guess I was hoping for that fall of the bones barbecue ribs. Not all was lost the brisket nachos were great. Our waitress was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. I’ll give them another shot, maybe today was an off day.“
“Definitely worth the drive! It's a hidden gem for sure. Authentic carnitas, fresh and tasty. The service was fantastic since we walked in. They have a huge selection of dishes, but Carnitas is definitely a must!! The one pound carnitas is just $11.99 and it's enough for 2 people. Tortillas are handmade, and they also give you a plate with different salsas, onions, chiles and verdura. They offer "Aguas frescas" different flavors and a variety of soft drinks. We also tried the "Gorditas" and they were delicious!!“
“If there's one truly authentic Mexican restaurant in Alvarado, it's Flor Del Campo! Everything is hand made fresh and with authentic ingredients and flavors. Not your canned chain restaurant TexMex. They have a great menu with lots of variety. I have tried their birria quesatacos (YUM!!!), quesadilla (huge!), and street tacos (absolutely the best I've had, hands down). Prices are great. If you eat inside, you get chips and hot sauce, which are perfect. They have Pina, Horchata, and Hibiscus drinks available, too. Don't let it being in a gas station fool you. This place is worth the drive!!!“
“Drove here on my day off just for barbacoa and eggs. I get there and they don't have it. I got pastor, barbacoa and chorizo tacos all flower instead. The tacos were pretty cheap and were ready in about 6 minutes. I thought there barbacoa tasted really good and would have liked it with eggs. The pastor and chorizo were pretty good too. I tried some of my friends rice and beans and liked it. This is actually a very good taco place and possibly the best in this area. I'd go again even though I didn't like the service.“
“I loved it and will be back again. I have been to the Vera Cruz restaurant in Bishop Arts and I hoped this one was related. It is and the food is just as good. I'm thrilled that it's closer to home and even more thrilled to learn one is being built in Mansfield.Great hot sauce, I could almost drink it! Everything we ate was delicious. We ate mostly from the breakfast/brunch menu. Plan to be back to try the rest.“
“Uhmmmm. How have we not been here before? Hands down the best Mexican food we've had. We've been to almost all of them in Alvarado, venus, midlothian, mansfield, burleson, waxahachie. But this place? Was amazing! It was a little toasty in there, but other then that. You've gotta try this place!“
“Main St. Tacos is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. The staff is extremely polite and friendly and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. The food is always fresh and very delicious! The Lengua tacos are my favorite!“
“Food is always amazing, first off. But today is my husband’s birthday and he wanted breakfast from them so bad… we ordered 4 BACON EGG CHEESE TACOS & 2 bacon burritos with the works and paid almost $33 dollars. We patiently waited for about 15 minutes and the buzzer went off, only they didn’t make the burritos. So we had to wait another 10 minutes on those. Got all the way to the house (we don’t live in Midlothian at all) and the 4 BACON EGG CHEESE tacos, turned into 2 bean and cheese tacos and 2 potato & egg tacos. He wasn’t happy but everyone was starving so of course the food was devoured. But it will be a hot minute before we order from there again.“
“Great Mexican food place!! The owner she is fantastic and humble. Her daughter is really good too, It’s a small restaurant, but they work hard the food is very good and they give good service. The owner does her best to go everything with excellence!!! They have a lot of regular’s and I am one of them!“
“Perhaps one of the nicest, fastest, and cleanest Taco Casa restaurants I have ever eaten at. Staff is always on point, friendly, and polite and they are consistently good. The location itself takes a hot minute to find if you're unfamiliar with the area, though it's worth the search.Parking: Ample ParkingWheelchair accessibility: Extremely ADA friendly“
“Rosa's is great. The only issues I have with Rosa's is that they don't do the chips and salsa any longer and a waitress doesn't come by. I know C0v1D messed a lot of things up but can't we go back to how it once was? Otherwise, love my Tuesdays!“
“Y'all, let me tell ya 'bout the Busy Bee Café in Maypearl! I reckon it's the real deal when it comes to Tex-Mex grub. I recently dug into their lip-smackin' chicken fajitas, served up with a side of queso, salsa, and chips. Quick as a whip, the food hit the table, and every bite was pure Texas bliss. Now, I ain't gonna lie, them gnats buzzin' 'round were a mite pesky, but that didn't dampen my appetite none. I'd surely saddle up and head back to Busy Bee Café for another round. If you're fixin' for some finger-lickin' Texan eats in Maypearl, this here spot's a surefire winner.“
“I've never written a review before but I just had to for this place! Usually when I eat ice cream it gets boring after the first few bites, but this ice cream was really good and I enjoyed the whole thing. Also, we took a while to order but the workers were really patient. I would recommend stopping by if you have the “
“Amazing prices, I tried the fajitas and the flautas and both were delicious. I do think they should keep working on their salsa recipe. It tasted too much like Pace generic store bought salsa, reminded me of On the Border’s salsa. But honestly everything else was so tasty and so reasonably priced I would definitely come back!“
“We tried the food and it was perfect the people was very nice and made shur everything was perfect they have kerrieoky and the restaurant is nice and clean and very nice in side I highly recommend this restaurant if you want good home cooking.“
“I’m going to say it, best taco place I’ve been to. Some of the best tacos, I’d recommend Al pastor and carnitas. I love getting a haircut then going straight here. Also! You better know Spanish if you want to order, pretty sure the workers know some English but Spanish is what I hear all the time. They have Mexican coke with a free opener. I love this place, 5 stars.“
“Taco truck set up. The tacos were very good and fresh. Don't have any complaints. Texas is hot in general but they had two benched with big umbrellas to sit under.Kid-friendliness: Open area.Parking: Food truck in a open lot right beside a mechanic shop. You shouldn't have a problem with parking.“
“Charged extra for included rice. Charged extra for included sauce. Charged extra for sour cream that was included. Paid extra for guac. It was the end of the night so we accepted the extra charges and just wanted to get our food and go home. We get home and all the things we were charged extra for and guac wasnt even in the bag! Thats over $10 missing from our food!!! Awful taste also.UPDATE: met with manager and was given a gracious refund and food tickets. Thank you for being honest and kind! Added stars!“
“I was pleasantly surprised to see this food truck while driving through the small downtown area of Alvarado. The tacos were very good and it was nice to sit at a bench outside to eat for a bit. There isn't much of an atmosphere however. The service was good, easy to order. And the food came out at a decent speed. We each ordered the Taco plate for $8 (comes with 3 tacos, beans, and rice) and a Jarritos for $2.50“
“I'm from harlingen Texas the far south , I frequently visit Mexico quite a bit and I have to say that since living up in North Texas in dfw I miss home sometimes and this place feels like home. The food is some of the best legit Mexican food I have had in a long time. I drive about 45 minutes just to eat here it is that good ? the atmosphere is home. Eat some al pastor tacos ? they are so good. I give this place , its service and it's employees ?????“
“A calm relaxing place to sit back after a long walk around Downtown Mansfield. They have a patio with plenty of space for people to sit outside when the weather is beautiful. Just keep in mind to have patience for the waiters as they are a bit occupied when it comes to rush hour. The waiters are the best and I love their attendance and nice conversations, a perfect 100. The corn tortillas are homemade and are deliciosos. A plate i must recommend y’all is the “Chilaquiles de Pollo”, a must dish that you should try and you won’t regret it.“
“This place has stepped up their game. The new menus are colorful, and the images look appetizing. I had #9 flautas (see pic), and they were very good. Along with the chips and salsa, you get a bowl of secret sauce. It is very good as well to dip your chips.“
“Nice little place next to the gas station. Very very clean store. Fresh Food. Christian family owns it I believe they close on Sundays. Kind people that matters. I absolutely love the fish tacos. Small place only seats for a few. They have a drive through though and if they aren't really busy doesn't take long.“
