“Got a breakfast burrito on my way to Devine and it was great and huge. The tomatillo salsa was really good. They have some interesting authentic Mexican ingredients you can choose from and they don't speak a lick of english. Next time I go to Devine I'm stopping here.“

“Our new favorite taco truck in San Antonio. We found it completely by accident and are so glad we did. The food is amazing and the service is fast. We had the pastor and asada which were both really good and the green salsa is bomb! Definitely recommend and will be returning soon.“
“Authentic little whole in the wall Mexican joint but all they sell is birria. Kind of sets them apart because they can specialize in one thing instead of trying to do 20. They do birria in all different forms so it still makes their menu options different depending on what you want.“

“Barbacoa was amazing. Service was amazing, great, family owned restaurant. They care about their customers. Barbacoa is not too fatty or greesy. Tortillas are fresh, and salsa has so much taste. They also give you chopped onions and cilantro, which the other rios don't.“

“I was making my way back home to Austin driving through San Antonio when I felt hungry. I popped open Yelp and came across Tacos El Rapido. The pics look good and I decided to call in and order some asada tacos and a papa con todo. The person who picked up the phone was friendly and said the order would be ready in about 10 minutes, which was perfect for me. The food truck is red, well lit, and located in a parking lot by a Circle K and a tire shop. They have several chairs set up in front of the food truck for those who want to dine in. It's cash only but they also accept Zelle, which I used to pay for my order ($19 - which is a good deal for 5 tacos and a potato with carne asada). The order came nicely packed with three different salsas (red, green, and avocado) and some limes. Both the tacos and the potato were delicious! Everything was very warm and the meat was soft and savory. I'll definitely make it a point to recommend it to friends and family in the area and will stop by myself again when I'm in San Antonio. Give them a chance!“

“Amazing fish menu. Casual and very affordable. Charming. The food was terrific and the salsas will invoke enough pain to release endorphins the rest of the day. While San Miguel has many high end impressive restaurants, this was our favorite meal by far.“

“Never been there before until this past Thursday (9-21-23) for steak nite. Omgeeeeees was I empress! The steak was medium well just the way I asked for it & very juice with a very good taste. My baked potato was cooked just right & they had all the trimmings for it to fix as you wish & so was my salad. We will definitely go back for steak nite. Wasn't to crazy abt the Rock music. I like Rock but they need to work on the surround sound & tuning. So we went outside to enjoy the cooler air after dinner.“

“First time coming here and I will definitely be coming back soon. Customer service was great and food was great as well. I got the the quesabirria taco combo and my wife got the taco, volcano, and quesabirria taco combo. Both came with consomme, celantro, onion, and chili. My tacos were delicious and not to greasy with just the right amount of seasoning. My only thing would be they needed more cheese. My wife said here taco's were great and she really enjoyed them. We will be trying out the rest of the menu soon.“

“The food was very good. Everything was flavorful and the meat was lean. The workers were all friendly as well and the aesthetic of the place is comforting too. The restaurant is outdoor seating only but it's relaxing. Will go back. My family had the birria pizza, burritos, Al pastor and tripa tacos.“

“I ordered Ay Que Rico to cater my son's wedding rehearsal. It was a destination wedding so I blindly chose them off the internet. From Rocio who took the order and handled giving me all of the information to Rico and his staff cooking/setting up, it was a breeze. It was the BEST food I could have ever asked for! Huge portions and every single thing delicious. We served 100 guests and probably received 200 compliments. They could not stop talking about it.I feel like I got a lot of bang for my buck! I cannot recommend them enough :)“

“This is my favorite place to get tacos. I rate based on how well the Bean and Cheese taste. If you can’t make a good bean and cheese are you even a Mexican restaurant. This is the spot to be at. Rosy the cashier is the sweetest lady ever. The Green salsa is the best I dip my taco that sauce. Must try you won’t be disappointed.“

“Excellent pastor meat, love their burgers and taquitos, the guy in the front is very nice and friendly, I once talk to him about my daughter being in the hospital and he was very concern about her health, he even ask me some weeks later how was. But the food and prices are the best in town !!!!“

“Several times a year I have to make business trips from San Antonio to Del Rio. This mom and pop Mexican restaurant in Lytle is always my "go to place" for breakfast on the way to Del Rio. I stop there every chance I get. I usually have the chorizo con huevos with corn tortillas. It's amazing!!!“

“Mini Taquitos y Gorditas Balderas is our new take out place that's open late!!! We pulled in at about 10:30 p.m., after finding them on Google maps. They have a solid 4.5 rating, and the reviews are right. The service was great and friendly. We ordered the Mini tacos Asada ala Mexicana, which came with a side of Charro beans. The tacos were well cooked, came with two corn tortillas per taco, and were excellent. The charro beans came with chicharon, cilantro and onion also very good. The plate came with two salsas, one green very tasty, slightly hot and the red which lacked flavor and was very hot.Note Mini Taquitos y Gorditas Balderas is a cash only food truck. Go by and enjoy some great food and service.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu.“

“These people don't know me, but I've been in now 3 times. I'm an international professional chef, I've worked all over and in Latin America. Born and raised in San Antonio. And worked here in restaurants since I was a boy. This is my spot for Mexican. Tacos are always so temperature hot it burns my mouth. That's fresh cooked per order. Whole piece of bacon in bacon egg taco. Full taco with filling. Everything made from scratch. Homage tortillas. Actual Refried beans. And they are packed this morning. I see why. Every Mexican in town is overhere,, not at Cabana. Lol“

“We came from California to see my daughter graduate from the Air Force and found this place on yelp. We figured we would give it a try considering it had so many good reviews and it turned out it was exactly as they said. Everything we ordered was very tasteful. The corn tortillas are homemade and the salsa has just the right kick. You will not be disappointed.“

“Updated review March 24, 2024All right friends, I just found out yesterday Mariachis Taco Truck is no longer at area 51. Here is where they are now: 12135 Potranco Rd, San Antonio, TX 78245Which is just a few hundred feet from Area 51. Its at the food mart where U-haul parks its trucks.I requested Mariachis staff permission to update their address and it will be updated on Google maps soon. Blessings to everyone!--‐---------------------'Mariachis Tacos did it again!!! (2023 review)It was almost closing time on Monday night at 11:20 pm, the cook managed to put together our order with birria meat (which we prefer), even with the possibility the meat would not be enough, he did it!! ? Thanks for taking very good care of your customers and going the extra mile. This is what makes a difference with your food truck and everyone else's. My Torta Supreme was extra crispy, and all the tacos were on point. One suggestion is that I would like to taste a mild version of your hot sauces. I bet they are delicious, but too hot ? at least for my stomach ?. If not possible, it's understandable since this is Mexican food from Jalisco to the USA. To all other customers, heads up if you like lots of lime on your tacos, bring extra slices from home. What you see is what you get. Thanks, Mariachi's for for your excellent ? food and customer service. Please keep up the good work!!!!Five stars for me this time. If I could do more, I would gladly do it.Old review. This is our second time eating from this food truck. My first impression is that the cooks put lots of love and pride when they make food. The first time I ate tacos, that tasted amazing. I was impressed and curious, so I went to the truck to order something else. I asked the cook what his suggestions were so I could try it out? he said, "Get the Supreme Torta, it has a good flavour." So I did, and oh my, oh my..... he was right!!! I loved it so much that I bought another one! So I will recommend the same torta hands down. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The cooks take your order some times, and I was able to ask if he can make my bread extra crispy and he did. So thanks for that extra detail. Thanks to the whole staff you rock! 10 STARS for me... Keep up the good work! In addition please try the PAPA CAMPECHANA you will love it!!“

“Legit one of the best taco trucks in San Antonio. My favorite lengua in the city. The al pastor is also top notch. Everything you order is smoking hot. Good people and they get your order done pretty quickly. I like that they have contactless payment.“
“I am pleased with the service and food! For the first time last night we tried Tacos Carillo. They were super nice and friendly. The tacos and quesadillas were delicious, and the chiles toreados spicy. Yum! Prices are great, unlike other taco stands and trucks. I definitely recommend to eat here.“

“The birria tacos are stupidly delicious hands down the best item on the menu. The chicken quesadilla was good they did use roasted chicken but it was bland with to much onions and cilantro. The staff were super friendly and they speak Spanish and English. Anyone coming from the north side of town it is definitely worth the drive and the prices are good for a food truck I got 2 orders of birria tacos (6 tacos) and a lg chicken quesadilla it came out to about $42 bucks. Make sure you get 2 orders of birria tacos they are so good 3 won’t be enough. They also have places to sit and eat but we ate in the car.Parking: Parking is free but they share a parking lot with a auto shop so parking could be difficult to find in the peak work hours.“

“This place deserves more recognition. Even though there are only 3 Quesabirria tacos, they were packed and come w all the toppings + some delicious consomé to dip it in. The Alambre Gitana was great with pretty much all quality meat and the pineapples gave it the perfect amount of sweetness to balance out the savory. The Charro Beans. Best Charro Beans I have ever had at any restaurant by far. Both red and green salsas were also great additions and the red was perfect amount of spicy. Jamaica tasted homemade as well. Highly recommend this place.“

“My favorite is the crispy quesadilla tacos. Love all the cheese and soft tender meat. The sauce is delicious. Not hot enough to burn my Minnesota mild mouth but so flavorful. I'm really impressed with the consommé with Ramen noodles and Birria. Nice and warm for cold San Antonio winter weather ?“
