“This is one of my favorite places to eat. It is hard to find healthy, quality vegan food. Everything on the menu is so delicious and made from scratch. You can’t beat the pricing anywhere for the quality you get. Even my non vegan friends love the food. They are also always so friendly and hospitable too. Highly recommend this place!“

“As soon as you walk in, they make you feel like family! Small but cozy place . If a big table is available, they will ask you if it's OK to share the extra space with other patrons if they're willing as well before just sitting them down without ask first. Parking is very limited as well, but we have been lucky to get parking! It is a must place to try if you haven't tried it yet!“

“Well, we’re over from England celebrating my 70th birthday and the meal here this evening was easily the best by far. It will not and cannot be exceeded for the rest of our three week trip. The rib-eye was so well cooked and the mushrooms were elevated to a flavour level that I didn’t think mushrooms could reach. My wife’s fish tacos were equally as wonderful and have been recorded as having reached legendary status. Edward the chef and joint owner has a superb palate and clearly knows how to put a dish together. We’re leaving first thing tomorrow morning. If we weren’t we’d be back. Too late to change our plans. What a shame.Just go and go again. This has been the highlight of dining out not just of this trip but perhaps of all time.“

“This is my neighborhood restaurant. Service is always great here and I'm always excited to be back! The food is always delicious and fresh! I honestly think they probably have one of the best bean and cheese tacos in town. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. Don't sleep on this place!!!!!!“

“Solid Pollos Asados. With some of the more famous places in town starting to slip in quality I decided to try this place close to home. The chicken was very good! Charro beans good though very salty. The rice is sadly sad. Just some rice boiled in Knorr. But I will still call this place my new go to for Char Chicken. Good job you guys. Staff was fine. Food came out quickly on a slow Sunday. Whole chicken, rice, beans, good fresh corn tortillas (probably from a local molino) a jalepeno, half a grilled onion (very good!) and two salsas. Ok you owe ma another red salsa! heehee. I got one red and one green but I should have got two reds. That stuff is great! Thanks you guys! all under 23 bucks.Parking: Small lot but still very doable.“

“This is my favorite place to get tacos. I rate based on how well the Bean and Cheese taste. If you can’t make a good bean and cheese are you even a Mexican restaurant. This is the spot to be at. Rosy the cashier is the sweetest lady ever. The Green salsa is the best I dip my taco that sauce. Must try you won’t be disappointed.“

“Not bad. Ordered the pancake plate with eggs and bacon. Unfortunately they forgot my bacon but did bring it when I informed them of it. The pancakes were rather thick not fluffy but good. Not bad place to eat, with decent prices.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp for easy enter and exit.“

“My friend told me about this place because his mom owns it. I have to say it was great because I received exceptional service and great food at a great price. I got the chorizo and egg plate which came with fried potatoes beans and tortillas that were homemade. Definitely a spot you need to check out. Also the plate cost less than $8 which is very reasonable.“

“Every time I visit San Antonio I try to eat here. It’s always delicious, great customer service and fair prices. The staff is always bubbly and friendly. The food is authentic and delicious. I’m picky about my Menudo and it’s delicious. Also they have their own parking lot and street parking is plentiful. I would recommend this place.“

“This is a hidden gem, quiet and very well handled. Quality of food and service excellent, my daughter had her preferred full of bean cheese and bacon tacos and finished every bit. Not too many places have the option even, but the costilas de oven (short ribs plate) is a major standout, very tender and delicious. Even got some to go. Good food, great prices as well. Highly recommend“
