“My daughter and I tried this place on Valentine’s Day and let me tell you they have some of the best tacos I’ve ever had!!! the queso birria tacos were absolutely delicious perfect size and portion. My daughter had the taki tacos and those were super good also!!! We are definitely going back soon!! Excellent, very friendly service, I recommend it!”

“Casa de Marisco is a staple in Weslaco. Don't let the name fool you. It isn't just seafood they serve here. But they have an awesome shrimp cocktail and the Tierra y Mar dishes are an awesome choice for those who want fried shrimp and fish while also hitting the spot for the chicken and beef fajitas. I always recommend it when asked for a good place to eat. This is my botana place. The botanita (for one) easily feeds 2 or 3. So much food. It's been a while since I've dined in but I see some familiar faces and they've always had great service. KEEP IT UP GUYS!!!”

“I visited today and had the worst customer service experience ever. These two girls that are together in the picture were the ones that caused the problem. I wanted to sit down with the group that I was with and they refused to let us sit together. They wanted us in separate tables when there was enough room for us on one table. They said we would be cramped and I told them that we did not mind. We were not blocking an exit or causing a safety hazard but they refused. These two girls were talking about me and making fun of the fact that I was handicap. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out and got a table for us that would fit us better. I told her that those two girls were very rude and we making fun of me but she did not seem to care. Her husband came from the back and told me that if I was not happy I could leave. I told him, I know I can but I wanted to bring to his attention how these girls were acting. He told me if im going to have an additude to get out of there. With the leadership this girls have it is no wonder they are giving the crappy customer service they are giving. To them I might just be one customer they will lose but if they keep treating people this way they are going to lose many customers and one day they will feel it. This place is to be our go to place every week but I will never be going back for sure.”

“May I say that this is the first bakery that I have been to that I have been completely satisfied with all the Delicious sweets that this place makes. The Horasca cookies ? were awesome, the peanut butter cookies were delicious ?, the CAKE, OMG THE CAKE ?......was so moist and goooood. The Empanadas were warm from the back ,as they had just been made , and not to mention the Conchas were a major HIT. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK on my next trip to the VALLEY. Thank you ? “Prefer to order from this location than any other. They're pizza and bread sticks are on point all the time, never raw or over cooked. Other places the bread sticks tastes like tree branches or the dough is not baked completely. This location should be a training center for other location employees no lie. Keep up the good job guys”

Parking: I think u can park at the back of the restaurant, but it gets really ugly there, especially between 5-7pm

“When I visit from Midland I will always stop here as soon as I get into town. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. The owner is so great, his staff is great. They have the best coffee in town! There’s definitely NO COMPETITION. I will pick this place over any other coffee shop in RGV. The coffee has the best flavors! They have coffee, lemonades, energy drinks even muffins! From childhood snacks and drinks to delicious tortillas freshly made everyday.I usually get the Mexican brand Arizona, a small wee coke glass bottle or even chips from their nearby store, the meat market. It is so nice overall.”

“Took my mother for her birthday lunch, and the food and service were great. Our waitress was on top of everything. There was a moment when a table behind us had employees sitting chatting about being body shamed and another complaining about only making four dollars on tips from a table. Certain conversations shouldn't be had out loud in front of customers, I feel bad for the young lady who was body shamed, though. I don't know if it was from a customer or employee, but the gossip was rather loud.”

And I just found out on social media about this place. my family and I go to Progresso just to eat Milanesa de res @ Renes. The milanesa de res at Renés in Weslaco TASTES THE SAME! I’m so happy I found this gem! My father and brother will be coming down to the valley from work next month and we will go visit Rene’s in Weslaco! Our customer service was stupendous and the restaurant was so clean!”

we tried their smash burger- bacon, it was GOOD. so far the food we've tried is good worth 5 star, however, their customer service could definitely be better. the guys didn't quite engage with customers, we were first trimmers visiting their establishment in person, and we didn't know the burger menu. they didn't offer any info or let us know what the meal came with, etc. there was a weird comment made but oh well.(dine in)

we tried their smoked barbacoa and carnitas, and wow, it is so good! their barbacoa is really good, no nasty fats, super soft and a great smoke taste. the carnitas are juicy, and really good. we want to try their other plates. but pricy but it's expecred...I mean it's bbq:)( take out)”

“I work in construction, so I'm not originally from Weslaco, but I was pleasantly surprised that the food was hot. It was good and tasty. I ordered it online, and from where I was working, it's about a 15-minute drive to get there with traffic, so I wasn't really expecting the burger to be hot because usually, when you order on an app and go pick it up, the food isn't always hot. So, being that I had a bad experience in my hometown with Sonic, I wasn't really expecting much better, but these guys blew it out of the water. I give them a 100 out of 100. They were friendly. They were nice. That food was hot. It was fresh. It was delicious. It was worth the trip. Shout out to Mike Rosas; him and his crew took care of me. They smiled and treated me warmly. This team is doing an awesome job. If you're in the Weslaco area and you want a quick bite—a burger, some chicken strips—give these guys a shot. They will definitely take care of you, as if you were part of the family.”

He had the chicken fired steak which was quite good but definitely could have been so much better with a small amount of additional gravy, it was quite sparse. I had the classic chicken sandwich which tasted pretty good but the chicken patty was equal to about the size of 4 chicken nuggets so was rather disappointing. “Ok, the salsa is delicious but, the weather is at 75 Fahrenheit so the tacos quickly get cold and you are not eating comfortably. Yes I understand that the girls they have working are on the move and do not feel the weather unlike a client. There is a woman who looks like a man and is wearing black gloves, this is how she is touching the seats, this is how she is taking orders and with those gloves she is carrying the dishes to the tables and if that were not enough another girl who is not doing very well. humor and ask us, 4 steak tacos? and I tell him it's for him (I was with my husband) and he doesn't even turn around and he almost pushes the plate.
What happened to the other 2 young people who work there? They are kinder and more attentive than the ladies they have. Damn there's no way to help them with the tip haha ​​they probably have traumas ?!!
