“Ordered a Chicken fried steak sandwich last night with a side of cream gravy to go.. It was massive. I love their Regular CFS and wanted something smaller. Wow, what a treat, covered it in cream gravy and knife and forked it.. So good!I have eaten CFS at the best places in Texas.Goodson's is rated #1 by Texas Monthly.This CFS is way better.. The coating is the best. Not heavy. And great gravy that doesn't taste like it's from a mix. Highly recommend!”

“This restaurant is our “Go-To” hot-spot for breakfast on weekends! Their pancakes are phenomenal, their biscuits and gravy?… well, GRUB! And their Eggs Benedict are delicious. Our grandsons loved the hot chocolate and my 82-year old mom was blown away by the blueberry pancakes. Highly recommend this place.”

“This is my favorite place to eat in La Grange! There are many choices. My favorites are the Santa Fe flatbread & Bodega salad. We try to make it to Bodega at least once a week. Plus, the ladies who work there are super friendly. It's small, but super cute. We love it!”

“I ordered a vanilla latte at Latte Cafe after the eclipse. The ambiance is nice inside. It’s a comfortable setting and not pretentious like many other coffee shops. They were friendly, quick and the restroom was very clean. The coffee was great.I think lasagna is misspelled on the menu.”

“The breakfast tacos are really good!!!The coffee is not good, sorry to say. I only have the opportunity to purchase from here when I am visiting my dad. My dad isn't a coffee drinker. I have tried their coffee twice, and it simply is not worth purchasing.The food is great. If they become intentional about serving even decent coffee, this would be a 4.5 - or 5-star establishment for breakfast. Another option is to not serve it (on behalf of even occasional coffee drinkers).”

“What a gem! The food is fantastic, the decor made me feel like i was in Mexico and the staff are absolutely awesome. Im not a salsa eater, but their salsa was something to write home about. It is served hot(temp), with lots of chips. The server told us it was a family recipe. I was disappointed to learn that they didn’t sell it in jars to go. He went in the kitchen and came back with the recipe and instructions to make it at home. As we were leaving he surprised me with a super large pdrink cup full of the salsa for me to take home!! I certainly recommen Las Fuentes as a MUST DO while visiting.the city.”

“Convenient place to stop for lunch on our way to Fredericksburg. Fairly busy on a Friday afternoon. Service was fine and the food was fresh. Definitely would recommend stopping in.”

“The food here is always fresh and taste great, they have a HUGE menu with plenty of choices and really decent prices and a shaded outdoor seating area to eat your food. The only con about this place is that it is Cash Only, but other than that no complaints.”

“Very hard to single out one meal that exceeds expectations because they all do. You have to give 'em a try. Bistro 71 is located inside Smithville Regional Hospital and has by far the best food in the area.”

“Visted with my family, spouse and 3 kids ages from (6-11) started with the queso and I think it took longer to order than my kids devour it! So delicious! We shared the parillada (Beef & Chicken Fajita, Shrimp & BBQ ribs) between the 5. The kids eat or don't, they definitely gave us a run for our money tonight. We are really enjoyed the full meal and experience can't wait to be back! I thought I had taken a picture of the parillada it didn't save so here is a picture of my drink & sides.”

“Whenever we are traveling, Subway never disappoints as a place to stop for lunch. There is something for everyone - sandwiches, soups, salad, wraps, bowls. This location is bright and airy and looks like it is new or recently remodeled. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious.”

“Quick lunch for an out of town work trip. Not much to choose from in La Grange, TX. It surpassed my expectations. Service and fajitas were excellent. Seemed very clean, even in spots were people don’t usually look. Will be back. Thanks!”

“Nice family oriented place. Clean and employees were friendly and competent. They brought our malts out fast, and they were delicious. We got our food to go, didn't have a long wait. Husband loves the Jalitos burger; he pronounced it good. I had Carolina reaper taco, which was fresh, a little on the small side and not very hot to my taste.”

“I went in to get a sandwich and this sweet girl waited on me. Had the best patients ever, kept her cool and just smiled. She had 3 customers to take care of while one coworker just walked around and wiped the clean tables. After she finished the customer in front of me. Another coworker appeared but just walked past and went to the back. She finished with me and help the next customer. Neither of the two coworkers ever stopped and helped her. What an amazing person to keep her composure while working with such lazy coworkers. I would be embarrassed if those two boys were mine. I hope management looks at how hard some employees work and others don’t.”

Located in the quaint small town of smithville. I had a great time. And let me say it again, it's smoky and I don't smoke. Reminded me how all bars used to prior to the no smoking laws. It would be nice to have some ventilation of air for the non smokers, but it was still a fun time at a local hole in the wall bar. You should go and see for yourself. Parking was not a problem. Karaoke on Friday. Heard some good signers.”
