“We stopped while traveling. The restaurant was a suggestion from a family member. The food was so good. We had fried chicken, smothered pork chops and fried fish with sides. The staff was friendly. Definitely recommend if you are in the San Antonio area.“

“Bussin!!! The baked chicken and gravy is fire! The yams bussing! The Mac n cheese isn't nasty, but it's kinda mid. It went well with the catfish though, and the catfish is fire too! I was salty they were out of the banana pudding and they only had a few servings left of peach cobbler so I'm pretty sure that means it's good. The kool-aid is banging. Fresh and hot! Made to order! “The entire time the Walt Disney tribute night was going on, there was a very young couple practically laying on each other. At no point were they at their table. They scooted their chairs back so far. They were blocking the walkway for others. I totally understand PDA. It's great seeing others in Love, but she was literally lying on top of this guy for the entire duration of the Disney movie song concert. I tried blocking them from my view, but she continued to try to get inside of him, I guess that was her goal. The musicians were phenomenal. Definitely see them again, just hoping those certain persons are not there again.Other than all that jazz, the food was Great fresh, the service was on point. Definitely recommend going.“

“If I could give them a 10 ⭐️ I definitely would. This place is on point from the sweet tea,food an the peach gobbler was to die for. I highly recommend them if your in the area. I will most definitely visit them again next time I’m in San Antonio“

“Solid BBQ, food 4-4.5, cool little place - outdoor seating with and without fans where you can sit and enjoy the breeze blowing in the trees and the iglesia next door; pretty interesting sides one of our kiddos was sad about the lack of mac BUT we tasted the mustard potato salad (super tart to wake up those tastebuds), rice (so gooood), tater tot casserole (yes please), borracho beans (delicious) and one child got the green bean tomato fancy salad which disappeared too quickly for me to get a bite! The BBQ was decent, flavorful - ribs only on wknds so missed out on those, brisket taco was yummy, the chicken was tender and well-seasoned, the sausage was decent. Bathrooms are in the bldg and you need to ask just FYI. What made this place a 5 for us was the service - super friendly, super helpful. We had some car troubles and they let us sit on the patio while we waited for a tow and helped us stay hydrated. Solid option.“

“We wanted lunch by the river walk and boy did we find a gem. Filberto was an excellent waiter. Warm and friendy, professional. The food was excellent. Fresh ingredients, amazing cuisine, wonderful presentation. We ate indoors in the AC but with a view of the river. They have a lovely patio right on the water that would be comfortable on a cooler day. Will come again!“

“It was the best moist fried chicken with great seasoning. I had ate almost all the fries and I really do not eat the fries and the macaroni was delicious!!!! I will be back and the Chicken as nice and hot like right out of the frying pan. Santiago was great !!!“

“Meadow is one of my favorite places on earth. The food is fresh and brilliant! They experiment with amazing new flavor combinations and breathe new life into traditional dishes as well. Their bar is as innovative as the kitchen, and if you want advice on the cocktails or extensive wine list, just ask because the staff... “Fantastic. Relaxed atmosphere, for outstanding fresh food. Dario helped us from the beginning explaining the menu and was so prepared and friendly.Every dish was bright and balanced. We focused on seafood and it was fresh and tasty. The fresh tagliatelle pasta was just right. Every sauce in the dishes was reach, without being overpowering.The desserts are worth it a special mention on their own. I appreciated the pairing of passion fruit with the bitterness of the cocoa nibs, the smooth creme brûlée paired with crunchy chocolate. My husband hazelnut dessert paired with clementines was perfect as well.I am so glad I could swing by and we can’t wait to be back.“
