“I've never been inside this location, but I was so happy we did! We came in on a whim while trying to pass time, and it was 110% worth it! We found all the classic chocolate that we love, as well as candy- new and classic! We ended up with a couple packets of Razzles, pop rocks, gummy dinosaurs, and my personal favorite - Sea Foam! I ended up spending 9$ and some cents on everything! Such a great deal! The ladies at the counter were incredibly friendly and even offered my son a smarties sucker which was so nostalgic! It was very calming inside, not a lot of customers. We watched 3 people go in before we went in, so they do have customers, it's just not overwhelming inside which I appreciated! We made it our mission to return to try the ice cream our next go around!“
“I have always eaten at Spankys since being a little kid. I stopped in with coworkers for lunch, but am expecting and didn’t really want a hot sub they were so nice and heated up the deli meat for me with a smile and made very genuine small time while waiting. Will always love spankys ?“
“This is my absolute favourite Nielsen's! Even though I have been to the one in St. George and Layton, as well as other newer Utah locations, Bountiful remains my fave! I had my first visit here in the late 90s and I have only been disappointed once at this location... got all the way home and they'd forgotten my fry sauce but on my next visit they more than made up for it... I have only encountered hardworking, respectful, and very kind teenage/young adult employees at this location (occasionally I have been helped by older employees with the same kindness and respect). I can't say that about all my visits to the Layton location. Anyways... I love the grilled cheese with grilled onions and their fries the most but I have NEVER been disappointed with any of the food from this location. I have tried nearly every flavour of concrete and, while I have my faves (lemon, pineapple, chocolate, and caramel cashew), they're ALL delicious! You must know it's in an awkward location so getting in the driveway can be difficult at high traffic times. It seems like A Lot of people love eating at Nielsen's... so be safe when trying to pull into the parking lot... there's not a huge parking lot but if you arrive before the crowds you should be just fine. I usually drive through but walk up service is nice too. I haven't eaten inside in quite a while but when I did it was always clean and a pleasant atmosphere. This is seriously one of my favourite places to eat or have frozen custard in Utah. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do! ?Kid-friendliness: very family oriented establishment especially for families with young children.“

“This is the BEST ice cream shop. They always have seasonal flavors and can see them making ice cream and waffle cones from scratch. There's also a kids size ice cream and split single, pay for a single ice cream scoop but 2 flavors.My family from out of town always wants to go here when visiting Utah.“
